"Indigo Charlotte Flume!" Ambrosius bellowed, "You told another customer off?!"
"He was being ridiculous! He kept insulting the products and then complaining about the price!"
Ambrosius, Indigo's adopted father, took a deep breath before looking his daughter in the eyes. "I understand that you don't like working with annoying customers, but they are customers none the less. You have to just grit your teeth and suck it up sometimes."

"No 'buts.' We have to work with the customers, regardless of our personal feelings. Be professional," Ambrosius said. He placed his hand on hers and then left her bedroom. I
Indigo waited till she heard her father's steps fade down the candy pink staircase and then grabbed her magenta pillow.
