By the time Indie made it back to the Hufflepuff dorms, she was still blushing like a mad woman. She got to hold hands with Angelina Johnson. Angelina Johnson.

She waltzed upstairs to the girls dorm, and threw herself happily on her bed.

Hannah looked up from her potions essay and found her friend faceplanted on her bed.

"Is this good or bad?" she tentatively asked.

"Good," Indie sighed happily.

"Are you going to elaborate any further?" Hannah questioned.

"No, I'm just happy," she smiled.

"Okay then," the blonde replied.

Indie sighed happily again, before grabbing her satchel and starting her homework.

-------------

"So, where've you been?" Fred asked Angelina, George standing next to him, as usual.

"Just went out to Hogsmeade," she quickly answered.

"Really?" asked George, "Why'd you go by yourself?"

"I wasn't alone," she quietly replied.

"What's that?" Fred asked.

"Why, Fred!"

"Yes, George?"

"I think our dear Angie here was on a date," George gasped.

"Ha ha, very funny, you two. If you must know, I was on a date," 'Angie' promptly replied.

"Who's the lucky fellow?" Fred asked.

She beckoned for them to come closer with her finger. They leaned in and then,

"None of your business!!" Angelina yelled and stormed off to her dorm.

"I reckon she didn't like that very much George."

"I don't think so, Freddy. I do not think so."

Angelina paced the girls dormitory furiously; she had so much pent up energy since quidditch had been banned. Katie watched, having nothing better to do.

"Angelina. You're driving yourself mad," Katie stated.

"I know, but I did my homework, and now there's no quidditch and if I liked reading I could read but I don't and all I want to do right now is talk to Indie but I can't cause we were just hanging out and I don't want to seem clingy," she ranted.

"Wait, wait, wait. I thought you were on a date today."

Angelina froze.

"Um. I was. With Indie," she awkwardly stated.

"Okay," replied Katie who then went back to her essay. Angelina had been expecting some sort of reaction, not just 'okay.' In the muggle world she would have been alienated, especially in 1995. Things were different.

------------

Indie sat quietly in the common room, contently writing her essay. Ernie and Justin were crouched behind one of the overstuffed couches, watching her warily. She always had something to say, and all she had done was write and hum quietly to herself.

"Somethings gone terribly wrong," whispered Ernie.

"Yes. Something very terrible, indeed," replied Justin.

"Think we should ask her?"

"Probably. But she's never usually this quiet, maybe we should just let it go," Justin suggested.

"But don't we, as her friends, have a duty to know what's going on?" Ernie demanded.

Justin sighed and agreed before walking over to the curly headed girl.

"Indie, is there something you'd like to tell us?" Ernie asked.

"I went on a date. With Angelina. And we held hands. That's all," she simply stated.

"B-but, you didn't think to tell us?!" Ernie sputtered. Justin sat frozen in shock.

"I guess it slipped my mind because I was so happy," she replied.

"Wow. You, you went on a date with The Angelina Johnson. The one you've been crushing on since third year. The one who made you realize you like women. And you didn't even tell us?!" Justin demanded.

"In all fairness, I haven't told anyone."

Indie continued working on her transfiguration essay, while the boys just sat in shock.

"Are you sure you're feeling okay, Indie? You're not running a fever or anything?" Justin asked as he placed a hand to her forehead.

"Yes, I'm sure," she laughed, "It just sort of happened, I didn't really think to say anything."

"Well, next time remember you have two friends waiting to hear all the juicy details. And because you didn't tell us then, you're obligated to tell us now. So, what happened?"

She laughs again, before launching into the much more theatrical outlook of her date. And everything was okay.
