The love(?)sick couple strode through the ornate halls, their hands clasped together. Indie began to swing them back and forth and Angelina laughed at her child-like glee. When they entered the Great Hall, they weren't really expecting anything. They weren't entirely wrong.
Fred and George looked completely befuddled. Ernie and Justin looked shocked. Katie shrugged it off and went back to her food, as did Alicia, after Katie gave her a good nudge. Indie turned her head to see who was jeering at them, presumably Pansy or Blaise, but Angelina steered her towards the Hufflepuff table. The Gryffindor gave her a kiss to the forehead, before leaving for her house table, as that was the rule at dinner. Indie was instantly surrounded by Hufflepuff's of all ages. Mostly curious, although there were some nasty comments made (but Ernie and Justin shut them up with a good glare).
Over at the Gryffindor table, Angelina seemed to have a delayed sort of reaction. Fred and George questioned her a bit, but were understanding. Alicia just wanted to make Angelina wasn't changing anything about herself, just identifying it. Other than that, there were a few congrats thrown around, and that was that. Ginny Weasley came over and asked to talk alone later. She agreed and told her they could talk in the seventh years girl's dormitory after dinner.
Honestly, the most sneers came from people that A) they weren't friends with or B) from a different house, so they didn't have too terrible of a time as the girls thought they would be having.

"Hey, shh, shh," Angelina giggled as she pressed a finger to Indie's lips, "We have to be quiet."
Indie nodded but looked much too excited to be out after curfew. The girls were roaming about in some back corridor they had come upon and were trying to be as silent as they could be. Indie specifically.
Angelina took control then, shoving Indie against a wall and kissing her passionately. Indie gladly reciprocated and melted into her new girlfriend.
"Merlin, you're gorgeous," the normally quiet Hufflepuff girl mumbled against Angelina's furious lips.
"You're one to talk," replied the Gryffindor, moving her lips down to her collar bone and sucking a deep mark. Indie's breath was coming out in little pants now. She wasn't sure how much more she could take before she started ripping Angelina's clothes off.
"Angelina," she muttered.
"Angelina," this time with a little more force.
"Angelina, we have to stop," she finally said.
The dark haired girl looked up with a mischievous smile.
"Do we?"
Indie sighed.
"Yes, we do. We're lucky enough Umbridge hasn't found us yet."
Angelina pouted.
"Fine. Two more minutes."
"Five."
"Three or I leave," Indie countered.
Angelina gave her a teasing look and went back to her canvas on Indie's neck.
--------------
Angelina crept back to the Gryffindor dormitories, ducking disapproving paintings on her way back. She quietly whispered the password and the painting swung open. Angelina crept up the stairs to her dormitory, when she remembered she was supposed to meet with Ginny after dinner. The redhead had looked nervous when she asked.
She tiptoed down the stairs to fourth years dormitory and walked to where the girls bed was and lightly shook her.
"Hey, Ginny," she whispered.
"Angelina?" Ginny croaked out.
"Yes, it's me. Do you still want to talk? Sorry...I got caught up."
"Um, sure," Ginny quietly replied, "I'll meet you down in the common room in a second."
Angelina nodded and walked back down the aching stairs and sat in one of the overstuffed chairs by the fire. Ginny followed down soon after.
"So, uh, what did you want to talk about?" Angelina asked.
"Well, I noticed you're with a girl now, and I was just wondering..." she trailed off in nervousness.
"What it feels like?"
"Yeah."
