I had my forms in to stay the year at camp half-blood, so I don't know why Chiron motioned for me to follow him to the big house.
He handed me a letter, saying "I think this will explain."
Explain what, may I ask? But Chiron looked like somebody has just died, so I decided not to be a jerk.
I read the letter, from a school- for wizards and witches. But what? I was a demigod. Not a witch, or what ever they were calling me. But they made the note at the end...
"People who are wizards and demigods are called demiwizards." Chiron said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"But how? Why?" I was so confused, my dad, a wizard?
"I have suspected it for awhile. You always seemed to have not only your skills from being a daughter of Athena, but another, strange magic that you could use. I believe you assumed it went with being a demigod, but Athena is no big three, and the monsters came after you as if you were one." Chiron explained.
I nodded, and Chiron handed me some weird, ancient seeming paper and a pen.
"The owl is sitting on the wooden owl above your cabin. I assume you will go to this school. I also assume you will not tell any other campers about your special abilities, so as not to scare them." Chiron then clopped out the door.
I stood there for a moment, just taking it all in. As if I hadn't already been through so much, with Thalia almost dying, but being turned into a tree at the last moment. Now I was being sent away from my last friend Luke, to learn a freakish magic with witches. Aren't witches a bad thing?
Despite all that, I scribbled a reply on the weird paper, then climbed to the roof of the Athena cabin to attach it to the owl, which seemed to know where to go. That was good, because all I knew was that I had to be in Brittan, on a train on September first.
I snuck over to the secret hiding spot that Thalia, Luke, and I used to hang out in and craft awesome pranks. The cleaning harpies couldn't even find us there, which was awesome.
It was dark, and I just sat in Thalia's spot for awhile. I was listening to my own breathing, because that always seemed to calm me. Or distract me, whichever you prefer.
But then the breaths I was listening to seemed slightly offset from my own. I started to feel like I wasn't alone.
"Surprise." A flashlight flicked on, and I gasped.
Then I laughed, because it was Luke. He quickly shushed me, and turned the flashlight at the ground so that it wasn't as bright.
"I heard your chat with Chiron." He said. Of course he did, being a child of Hermes, he could do amazing stuff like that. "Unfortunately I have nothing to say."
"What? Your not mad at me for leaving or anything?" I said, probably a bit louder then I should.
He shushed me again, then said, "Why would I? It's cool that your also half witch, I just wanted to let you know that I knew. I'm a great friend that way."
"OOH? What do we have here?!?" and suddenly there was a much brighter light shining into our eyes, followed by a cackling laugh, "A little demigod? OUT OF BED? PAST CERFEW!?! SOUNDS DELISHOUS!!!"
The harpy grabbed me by the nape of my neck, and hauled me that way all the way back to the big house. Where she was either going to eat me, or I was going to get punished by Mr. D.
So in short, I was dead.

But on the optimistic side, we only have 178 more days to go! :/
Yea. great. Well, I'm starving so I'm going to go eat dinner.
