Jeff was on the ground. He hardly heard Zalgo's voice in his head from before. He was staring at his skin. It was... Back to normal. Not white, leathery, and burnt. Looked like normal human skin. He was trying to comprehend what was happening. He didn't feel his mind being broken and torn. It was as if it was altogether. But that couldn't be true. He couldn't have killed his family without sort of mental snap... Right? Jeff began to believe that he'd done it himself, as Zalgo had implied. He closed his eyes; Something he could not have done without eyelids. He felt his cheeks. They were... All together. He pulled his knees up to his chest, and buried his head in his knees, arms wrapped around his legs. He began weeping. For his family. "I'm so sorry! I still love you! I don't care if you lied! Mom! Dad! Liu! I'm so sorry- It wasn't me- I didn't- I couldn't-" He began uncontrollably sobbing. All of a sudden, he felt two small arms wrap around him. He stopped crying for a second, and looked up. He saw the bloodied face of a small child. She had her eyes closed, hugging Jeff from the side. It was Sally. Jeff immediately hugged back, tightly, though he made sure not so tight as to hurt the girl. He cried into her shoulder. "It was all my fault." He whispered to her. Sally shook her head.

"No it wasn't, Jeff." She said in her small voice. "You can't control what happens to you. Zalgo changed how it is now; That doesn't change what happened before." Sally said. Jeff stopped weeping. He realized that a dead little girl had more sense than he did. He wiped his eyes.

"You're right... We... We have stuff to do. I'm sorry. Lets go." Jeff said, getting up. Jeff looked around. They were in a long hall of dark, moist, slimy, tall walls. Up above, the sun was shining. It was day. Jeff couldn't tell where he was. As Jeff began walking, Sally grabbed his hand, and held onto it. Jeff then squeezed her hand lightly. "Thank you." He whispered. Sally somehow heard. She looked up at Jeff, and smiled. They walked through the corridor of long walls, trying to find the center.

BEN was curled up in the corner, in a dead end of the maze. He looked to his left. Rake. His claws... They were gone. Torn off. They were bleeding. So was his mouth; His teeth were gone. He instantly felt bad that he'd thought he got the worst of it. But Rake seemed to try to pretend he wasn't much affected by it. Rake crawled on his elbows instead of claws, now. Trying to stand up straight seemed to hurt the creature even more. "Letsss go." It croaked out, and began crawling through the maze, wanting to get through with it as fast as possible. BEN followed next to him. BEN looked down at his clothes. Normal. He hated that. Being one in the crowd. That demon thing... Zalgo... Really knew how to push people's buttons.

"Hey... Listen... Sorry I annoy you sometimes, Rake. I just... I dunno. I'm sorry." BEN said, looking at Rake.

Rake sighed, still moving. "Don't sweat it. Lets just keep going." Rake said. After a while, with no luck, BEN stopped. He touch the wall, trying to make his hand intangible. It did not work.

"This is so frustrating! I'm a ghost. Why can't I just float away!? Or phase through walls!? Gaaah!" BEN said, hitting the wall. Rake blankly stared at him with his glowing green eyes.
