All Lost Silver could hear were yells and screams of pain, with occasional moans and groans replacing thing. All he could see other than the sky were black walls, a grey floor, and Eyeless Jack, his hand over his... Lack... Of eyes, and a hole in his stomach. Jack was the one screaming. Silver floated over to Jack, and purposely bumped into him, letting him know he was there. Jack jumped, being surprised by it. "Wh-Who's there!?" Jack said.
"Lost Silver." He said, feeling bad for Jack.
"It burns! I can't sense anything anymore! It is all black! My stomach- My eyes sockets- Help me! Please!" Jack pleaded, pathetically.
"I cannot. We must go." Lost Silver said. "Follow my voice." Lost Silver said. His tone of voice did not change: Depressed, disappointed, unhappy. Lost Silver went on about how it is not to have any limbs, and why he was sad. Why he was what he was... Why he faded away. Why even becoming a champion didn't save him from being forgotten. Eyeless Jack, still moaning and groaning in pain, followed Lost Silver's monologue throughout the maze, trying to find the center with him.
Hoodie got up from the ground. He looked around him. He didn't see anyone. "I thought..." Hoodie began, until he saw a red and white ball on the ground. "BRVR?" Hoodie asked, and walked up to it. He picked it up, then threw it on the ground. "I choose you, BRVR!" Hoodie yelled. Nothing happened. He picked it up and threw it on the ground again. "I choose you, Glitchy Red!" He said, and still nothing happened. Hoodie tried one more time. "I choose you, Lost Silver!" Still, nothing. Hoodie sighed, and shrugged. He hated not having anyone tell him what he needed to do. It was like building a Lego set without instructions. Giving up, Hoodie said to the ball, "Sorry." And put it in his pocket. He hoped Toby, Masky, and Slender were alright. The picture he saw of Slender... It was terrible. Hoodie never thought he'd feel bad for something so much more powerful than him. It looked like Slender was actually worse off than Hoodie was. Hoodie shook his head to get his focus. He had to carry- Red, Lost, or BRVR- to the center. It was all on Hoodie. Whoever was in the ball was counting on him. And Hoodie didn't plan on disappointing anyone.
Herobrine sat, hardly able to move in his block-like form, in the corner. He tried to get up. He couldn't. He saw, after scouting out the black walls, the floor, the sky... A little brown Fur- No, it was that thing that had come to the door earlier... What was it... Mr. Widemouth? Herobrine thought so. He tried again to get up; He instead pushed himself farther from the wall. He looked over to Widemouth. "Hey! Mr. Widemouth! Help me!" Herobrine said. Widemouth didn't get up correctly. It looked like it was trying to figure out how to get up. That gave Herobrine the impression that he was a complete idiot. It finally got up and walked to Herobrine. It walked strangely; Almost a combination of limping and drunken falling.
"Help! I've become stupid!" Widemouth said, pathetically.
"What?" Herobrine asked.
"I said I've become stupid!" Mr. Widemouth said, hitting himself in his head with his three handed fingers. "I can't find a solution! Its right there... I can't get to it!" Widemouth said. Herobrine knew what must've happened; Zalgo's punishment for him must've been unintelligence.
"Just help me get up." Herobrine said, trying to feel sympathetic for Widemouth.
"How? I can't! You're stuck on the ground!" Widemouth said, urgently, genuinely not knowing how to help. Herobrine rolled his glowing white eyes, which really didn't do anything, and continued trying to get up. He eventually managed it. "Follow me." Herobrine said, walking in that Minecraft-style peg-leg walking through the maze. Mr. Widemouth eventually got the jist of what to do, following Herobrine, actually seeming to have a harder time walking than Herobrine was, who eventually got the hang of it.
"Keep up, gremlin." Herobrine said.
"Don't call me that, you... You... Grrr!" Widemouth said, not having the best vocabulary anymore. Herobrine chuckled. He enjoyed toying with him like that. But he stopped; He knew Widemouth couldn't help it. Normally, Widemouth probably would've been able to match any insults Herobrine shot at him, maybe beat them. So Herobrine stopped with that, not being able to imagine what it would be like to be so ignorant and unintelligent. How ironic; He was ignorant of how ignorance is. Either way, they kept moving through the maze, attempting to find the 'center' that Zalgo mentioned.
BRVR looked around, and saw a block with question marks on the sides. He was a bit woozy. He'd heard of that... That... Ghost. It's Curse would usually make him faint... Or worse. Now it just made his senses go a bit crazy. Whatever that was... That thing that looked like Glitchy Red... Was it one of this 'Zalgo' guy's minions? No, he'd said he was an actual glitch just like BRVR. BRVR shook his head. He'd have more stuff to focus on. Though, focusing was a bit difficult with that Curse on him. He made his way to the block. He punched it, which got whatever was inside out of it. At least in the game. Not in real life apparently, as it did nothing. BRVR used lightni- Nope. He couldn't. The Curse must've removed all of his abilities. BRVR angrily stopped on the ground, which for some reason made the Curse a bit worse, and fell over. Getting up, BRVR picked up the question block. Whatever was to happen, he'd have to go through this virtually alone with nothing but a block. He'd been alone a long time; What was a bit longer going to do?
Smile Dog sat in the center of a long hallway. What he saw was a blue... Spiky-haired... Thing. "You think you can trap me in here?! I can find my way out with ease, as well as find everyone too." Sonic.EXE said, and began running. Smile was confused at first; It was as if everything was in slow motion. He saw Sonic.EXE's legs running in that circular pattern one could see in the game... But he wasn't going anywhere. "What the-" The corrupted blue hedgehog said, and stopped. He walked at a normal speed, but whenever he tried to run, he just got slower. .EXE kicked the ground, and sighed. It looked over to Smile. "What are you?" It asked. Smile Dog could not answer; It's vocal chords were altered. All it could do was whimper. .EXE walked over to it. "Oh... You're that smiling dog." It said, pitifully. Smile stood up and excitedly licked his gloved hand; He was quite happy he remembered him. "Alright then." It said. "Lets... Go. I guess." Sonic.EXE said, apparent he was disappointed he could not run at the same speed as before. Smile Dog followed politely, at the same speed as Sonic.EXE, though he could run much faster, being a dog; He didn't want to make .EXE feel bad. And so they kept walking like that. Through the maze. Trying to find the center, just like everyone else...
...
"Are the subjects ready?"
"Yes, Lord Zalgo. They are fully under our control."
"Good... Are you ready?"
"Yes, Lord Zalgo."
"Excellent... They'll get their company, all right."
