    I woke up to the soft sound of rain hitting the roof of the shed. A mesmerizing metallic beat. Unzipping the sleeping bag I realize how cold it is and get dressed quickly. As I was putting on my pants I tripped getting my leg into them and stepped back... Right into a freezing cold puddle of water. Knowing these are my only pair of socks I thought this couldn't get any worse. I hope...
    I take off my socks and hang them up to dry. Slowly walking back to the house I hear movement inside. Im not very sneaky but I try my best when its needed. Walking heel to toe slowly I make it to the kitchen window. Peering through I see that there's someone who seemed to be looting but I wasn't sure. It unnerved me to watch because instead of taking their time and looking thoroughly through MY CUPBOARDS, they were in some sort of panic. Looking desperately. I noticed the long hair and assumed it was a girl and didn't see a reason to be threatened I thought I could help. I wasn't sure how to approach the situation without scaring her so I backed up from the window,took a deep breath, and headed towards the door almost stomping. I was making sure she knew I was coming. I opened the door to see her looking back at me. In shock we stared, I fell to my knees and started to cry. I couldn't believe it. And neither could she apparently because she was crying too. It was her...
