Chapter 8 ~ Not the time

To say that Lucy and Natsu were close wold be the understatement of the century. They were way past 'close'. They were so past that line that the line was barely there, the line was a dot to them.

So it seemed reasonable to most of the school when Nastu spent a whole term waiting for her to come back to class. Try as she might, even Erza couldn't budge him from the infirmary wing, so she turned to the library.

Headmistress Mavis refused to reveal what had happened near the lake, but that hadn't stopped rumours. Rumours, courtesy of Sting Euecliffe mainly.

So she pushed the Lucy problem aside, because despite her worry for the blonde, she doubted her new body guard would let anything happen to her for a while now.

She had lots of time to herself, so she used to theorize Gray's disappearance. It has been nearlly a month and Juvia was melting, literally, herbology had been a nightmare with her this week. The only benefit is they could use her tears to water the plants.

She had tried to talk to Lyon and Gray's mother but they were very quiet about it. She knows they know something from a conversation Lyon had had with his owl, Snow white (she has no idea why it's called That, he either really likes the princess or snow).

She didont hear all of the talk but she did hear something,

"Gray's friends are annoying, no wonder he likes them so much," he muttered something else about Gray being an asshole or something ",... red haired chick can't... ver Fullbuster... Azkaban"

Erza skipped her third meal to study. She spent the spare time Looking up people with names ending in 'ver Fullbuster' but found nothing, their family tree was as sealed up as usual.

She spent the next two night looking through criminal records of people who are or ever were in Azkaban. She was close to giving up when she saw him.

Silver Fullbuster;

Murdered 16 Muggles and 2 Ministry officials.

Injured 32 Muggles and 5 Wizardry teachers.

Sentenced to life in Azkaban- without trial.

And for the first time in a long time, Erza felt her body freeze. Not just at the thought of the horrid things he had done, but at something more terrifying then that.

She was scared because this was undoubtedly, indubitably, Gray's father.
