It had been a month since the students left Hogwarts and while most were relieved and excited to recieve letters stating they were to return in a week, some were not.

Over the month, 5 muggle-borns had been found in the same state as Shelia Blendy. They had also not heard a single word from their raven haired friend and prayed they'd see him when they all returned. Natsu had written to Lucy every day to make sure she was alright and twice whenever he read that a muggle-born had been found frozen. Unfortunately, not all his letters were recieved. You see, Lucy had been living with her (very strict) muggle father, who disproved of her powers and her friends. "If you're going to go to that joke of a school than the one I wish you go to, at least behave when you are their child!" He would often write in his scolding letters.
Erza lived under strict muggle rules too, she was an orphan, who was mistreated and bullied for being the 'unusual' one. The orphanage staff didn't care where she went to school, especially if it ment having sombody else take her off their hands for a year. Which is why they looked ready to cry and hit her at the same time when she arrived back. Not like I wanted to.
Natsu grew up with two loving wizard pearents, making him a 'pureblood' as most would put it, and the cutest little sister. His family were fine financial wise and his life was the definition of perfect in the girls eyes.
Gray was a halfblood. His father and mother seemed to be happy in the past but after being married for 5 years then having him and Lyon, his mother finally confessed that she was a wizard. Her father, being completely muggle, was confused but his confusion quickly turned into a mixture if unpleasant emotions, fear, anger, disproving. He left Gray, Lyon and Uur without another word and Uur was heartbroken. She fell into depression but soon learned to cope for her children's sake. The children learned not to speak of their father and neither of the three have seen the man in almost 18 years. They were well off enough and their mother was over the moon with joy when they recieved their first Hogwarts letter. She was also secretly very relieved that neither of her children were muggles, she didn't ever want a reminder of him and frankly it would be hard to raise muggles being a wizard.

Lyon was extremly worried about his brother and the impact his sudden disappearance had caused his mother. She had been franticly contacting anyone she thought could help. Lyon also knew Gray hadn't come down to the Slytherin common room with him and the other slytherins.

Then on the day before they left for Hogwarts again, their owls flew to their owners in panic.

Plue's snowy white skin and orange tipped beak shivered slightly in the cold temperature that had attacked her house a few minutes ago, as she took the small note clippped to his tiny white feet. She turned her attention to the note as she read it:
---------------------------------------
Happy's blue feathers stood slightly up as the surprising change of temperature as he ebtered the house. Natsu, almost oblivious to the freezing temp, quickly unattached the note from the blue owl's shaking feet. He read quickly:
---------------------------------------
Erza noticed her cream owl with it's noticeable strawberry-red beak flying towards her. She saw the short note hooked to it's foot and carefully uncliped it, even with her hands shaking from the sudden temperature drop at the orphanage. She read outloud:
---------------------------------------
Lyon was unfazed by the freezing cold air and continued to read until he heard a loud bang from the window. As he opened it he saw his extra fluffy, white owl with tinted blue feathers and a dark grey nose. He reached for the letter and read:

"I'm Sorry"
The letters were scrawled across the thin pieces of paper and the readers stared at the sheets in confusion.
"Sorry for what?" They all asked then they heard a horse and gruff grunts from behind, but before any of them could meet their intruders, they were hit sharply on the back of their heads. They all fell to the floor before losing conscious.
