So I had another epic lemonade stand and in that one alone we raised $103. So together we had $143 all together. So today we had a sign that says "Help support Cradles for Crayons," which is a charity we were going to donate half our earnings to. We were using the other half for our field hockey team because we need new equipment and the snack bars they set up at our games are out of the question because we have no home games. So I thought we would go into school Wednesday and give the money to our principal to donate to the charity because we're lazy and don't feel like donating it ourselves.
So I go home and on the group chat they were saying that since we earned all the money on our own time, we should buy halo headbands for the whole team. We have enough money because a few other people had a stand and they made over $100. And I tried to be the voice of reason like "guys we said we're donating this to a charity we should stick to our word." "Oh well we're doing a bake sale for that." Yes we are doing a bake sale, but only half of the money is going to the charity. Plus we told people who were buying our lemonade that we were donating it to charity. And that's why they gave us even more money because it was for a good cause.
Am I right or am I right?
