So often we waste time with how we are perceived by society.

We forget who we are, and or who we want to be.

Society,the dictator and we oppressed and oppressors.

Oppressors of one another and in turn ourselves.

In constant criticism of ourselves and judgement of others.

Forging the voice of society, stepping in Like those before us .

In a constant chain of harsh judgement of others and self hate by that very reason.

And yet what do we have left ? knowing what is coming our way...

We take it out on someone, anyone knowing with complete certainty that

Someone is on their way with the sole aim and purpose of belittling us...

We take our place in society, and so the cycle goes ..

But what if instead of doing onto others what has and is being done to us,

We decide to be a little bigger

A little better to those beneath , sheltering them from the pain

Would they then follow in our steps ,

Or succumb to temptation ?

Temptation without consequence.

Would they help us change society for the better ?

Or would they give in to the existing pressures of revenge and curiosity?

Would they risk it ?

Would you ?
