Yoongi
I kept my promise. I went back to Daegu to visit my little Mija, Bing Mija. Everything about her was so cute and bubble-- even her name. Although it had been such a long while since I last saw her, my monochrome had stayed erased which gave me the strength to wake up everyday and try my best at being an idol, being a role model, being Yoongi.
We met up just outside of the park. My face was covered with a black mask and my eyes with a pair of sunglasses, a beanie on also to hide some of my hair. It wouldn't be convinient to have any saesang fans recognise me.
To be honest the first day that I was there with her felt like a normal date except for the fact that she burst out into tears the second I let her peep at my face, moving my mask. All that we needed after that was to have a long chat, hand in hand. I was upset to find out that her cat had died but she said it was okay because she still had me and other people. It surprises me how she could talk about depressing things but then switch to something completely positive so quickly.
Once it got dark we made our way back to Mija's flat. She moved away from her family because of the college she wanted to go to, it cut travel expenses and it was overall cheaper for her to move.
She put on a random channel and we sat on the sofa cuddling.
❝ Yoongi? ❞
❝ Hm? ❞
❝ Hyemi's monochrome came back. ❞
The sudden mention of monochrome surprised me. I got used to having colours, the vibrance was nice and helped me write my lyrics and draw. My drawings were now more interesting too.
❝ Hyemi wouldn't tell me how it went back to monochrome. ❞
I sighed quietly. ❝ The colours are erased when your soul mate is erased. In order to have colour you must have your soul mate. ❞
Mija began stroking my hands, a habit she gained when we were still in high school. ❝ She broke up with her boyfriend. And then he moved away. ❞ It took Miji a while to say that.
❝ Then that's why. ❞
We sat there for a few moments, cuddling, Mija rubbing her thumb on the palm of my hand. ❝ Do you think that'll happen to us-- with you being away so much and everything. ❞
I chuckled quietly before kissing her gently on her head.
❝ Never. ❞
