Once in a faraway forest land of Quelyn lived great and mighty king called Adams. He had a very big and beautiful castle. He was the richest man in the kingdom.
Quelyn was a very beautiful rich forest land in the Eastern part of the world. It was rich in gold, silver, diamonds, emeralds among lots. Its forest was full of beauties; sing bird, talking parrots, colorful butterflies and not forgetting the ever sweet scented flowers that filled the whole kingdom with its fragrant.
King Adams castle was made up of three hundred and sixty-one (361) rooms, two hundred and twenty (220) servants and an enormous large field of compound filled with sweet and beautiful flowers, ornamental plants and an enormous pool.
King Adams married a very young and beautiful woman, who was once a maid servant before he became king! She was called Rebecca. Their love was true and pure! Well, that’s another story to be told some day! But I must say their love bonded since they were teenagers. They would always sneak to play on the mighty frozen River of Quelyn. The great, great grandparents of King Adams named the land Quelyn after the magical river of Quelyn. River Quelyn protected and made the land beautiful. It kept the cool when it was hot and warm whenever it was cold.
King Adams and Queen Rebecca’s wedding was the greatest that had ever happened in the land of Quelyn. The wedding wasn’t held at the castle, but on the frozen waters of River Quelyn, so as to be blessed by the river. The sweet singing birds and colorful butterflies were present at the wedding, carrying sweet scented flowers all over the grounds. The wedding was so great that, weeks after it, news and memories of it were still shared as if it has just happened that very day.
They were living happily after the wedding, till the thoughts of not having a child nine (9) after their wedding, enveloped their hearts with sorrow and sadness.
