Chapter 6

Ethan and Grayson were editing a video in Ethan's room, when Grayson got a call from his mum. He answered straight away, putting her on speaker. "Hey, mum!" They both said into the phone.

"Boys, you really need to talk to Mia. She-"

"Mum! Have you forgotten what she tweeted about us? She told us she was our friend, but she really hated us. She tweeted out to the world her true feelings towards us. She never liked us! I want nothing to do with her! I don't want someone in my life who hates me! I want to erase all negativity. I want to live a life full of positvity!" Grayson said.

"Gray, she isn't doing well without you! She's locked herself in her room for a month! She's destroyed all contact with the world. She's destroyed her phone, she ignores her family, no one leaves or enters her room. She needs her friends. She needs you!" Lisa explained. Grayson sighed while Ethan answered.

"She may need us, but we don't need her!" Ethan said.

"You need to see her for yourself. She looks terrible" Lisa said. "I'll see you soon, love you! Bye!" The call ended. Grayson turned to Ethan.

"Why would mum visit her? She hurt us and yet mum is talking to her! She's able to manipulate everyone into feeling sorry for her! She's just seeking attention! She wants us to come back and see her! She wants to hurt us more!" Grayson said. Ethan sighed and continued to edit their video. They spent the rest of the day editing their video and spending it with their true friends. They were never going to see her again. They didn't want to see her!

They had completely forgot about her and made new friends. True friends. They had moved out to LA because there were positive vibes there and all their real friends lived there. They wanted to leave all the negative thoughts back in New Jersey with all the bad memories.

Ethan and Grayson had always wanted to leave all the negativity back in New Jersey. They wanted to forget about the lies, the bullying, the pain, the fake friends.

Forget about Mia.

It had been 16 months since Ethan and Grayson had seen or heard from Mia. They were currently doing a world tour so they could meet all their fans. They were going home soon to celebrate Christmas. They were in Australia, having a relaxation day. They were exploring the country.

It was amazing! They had met so many fans over the 6 months of tour. Tour is the best thing that had happened to them in their entire lives. They didn't want to go home, but they also wanted to see everyone again.

It was their last day in Australia. They were sad, but also happy to be going home. Unfortunately, they would be seeing Mia.

After spending a day relaxing in the warm summer sun, they go back to their hotel to pack their things. They were sad their tour was ending, but they wanted to go back home and spend Christmas with their family.

It was getting late and they had to do their last show of 4OU. They were waiting in their changing room for the show to start. They were talking to each other about the show, fans, tour and Christmas. Ethan was drinking apple juice while Grayson was fixing his hair.

"What if we see Mia?" Grayson asked.

Ethan didn't reply for a while. "I guess we'll ignore her. She never wanted to be friends with us! Why should we talk to someone who never even liked us?! She's just like everyone else! She never wanted to be friends, never wanted to be seen with us, never wanted to speak to us, never wanted to go to school with us. Why else would she tweet about us?! I think it's best for us if we block out all negativity. Including Mia. She's just like everyone else from school".

Grayson sighed. "But what if she-"

"A true friend would never want to hurt their friends!" Ethan cut him off. "A true friend would never lie to their friends. A true friend would always defend their friends. A true friend would never insult their friends. Did Mia do any of them?!"

Grayson stayed quiet. "Exactly!" Ethan exclaimed. "She was never truly our friend. She just needed someone so she wasn't alone. We were so desperate to make friends, we couldn't see past her lies. She used us. And we didn't even know".

"I don't get why we can't make friends - proper friends!"

"We don't needs friends," Ethan admitted. "We've got each other. And our fans. And our family. That's all we need. Forget about all those people from the past who claimed to be our 'friends'. They were always lying".

It was finally time to go up on stage. They ran out and did the show. Like usual, they did the same challenges and same routine. They answered questions fans asked on Twitter using the #4OUQ&A. After the show, they did the meet and greet.

It was early hours in the morning when they went back to their hotel. The Dolans slept for a few hours before going to the airport to go home. They would be seeing their family. And Mia.

But they didn't expect her to be how she is...
