Coal & Dust

I looked up how to draw cats. I'm trying to learn how to draw cats better, cause up until now I've only done like 2-D and only like 4 different positions (sitting, standing, standing/running/walking from the side, sleeping in a ball)

So yeah. Coal and Dust are from our rp called Prey Rebellion which is warrior cats RP where the prey form an organized resistance movement. Led by Acorn the squirrel (and pinecone the squirrel) they operate out of the Cliffside rabbit warren. Not only do they occasionally ambush hunting patrols, they also train all manner of prey animals how to fight back and what are the best places to stay hidden. (Ex: teaching squirrels how to identify the best trees to climb or teaching birds how to dive-bomb and such)

One day, they found three kittens in the forest near the warren. They called them Coal, Dust, and Rin. The clan cats found them first, but it was only a young apprentice who did that and could only carry one back. When he returned with other cats for the other three they were gone. (cause they were adopted by a squirrel.) Dust is my character, Coal is Jack's (he doesn't have wattpad anymore...) Rin is Moomoo's (Rapidfur ) although she was recently kicked from Forestclan :/...

They grew up in the rabbit warren, learning how to climb trees from Acorn. Dust can act quite Squirrel-like sometimes, but is certainly the most innocent out of the three. They eat cat food (wet cat food, not the dry pellets) that they get from a local crazy cat lady. When they were much younger they got milk from her, too.
They help the prey train with lots of things, but mostly through helping them get a feel for fighting an actual cat. They were raised by prey, and know there are alternative food sources.

Rin especially thinks that the clan cats can't REALLY be cats because Coal, Dust, and Rin are cats and they aren't like the clan cats so the clan cats must be a different species, meaning they aren't cats. "Because we are cats, and cats don't eat rabbits and squirrels! But you do, so you must not be cats!"

Dust is very cute. She is grey with a lighter grey (almost white) belly, chest, and muzzle, but it looks like she got covered with dust! She's all speckled! Like if someone dumped dust on her, she's more dusty on her back than her belly. She also has a white, dust-less tail-tip.

All four of the litter have a specific shade of blue eyes.

It's funny, in the drawing Coal Looks very feminine xD
Also, Coal is sitting on a log.

And yes, I just wrote 456 words about fictional kittens.
And yes, I am aware that this is still terrible. But it's better than I could do a week ago! Improvement is the important part ^.^
Yep.

BAI!
