Have you heard of the girl with stars in hers eyes
That when she gawks the galaxy expands
Or that her whole heart is made of velvet
Throbbing and pulsing with all her demands
The girl that chuckles from the audacity of those lesser than she
All the riches and wealth a girl could want that she just can't see
Maybe you could have some sympathy for a girl like that
For Christ sake she's dying on the inside
Could you leave it like that?
A soul so distraught it seems to already be dead
She wants you to know, to feel her sorrow
But all that becomes apparent is the life she's lead
In the dead leaves of winter, her being lies
She stares blankly into the dark space
In the place that should've been her eyes
She truly feels nothing, in this moment she is truly dead
Grey eyes, cold skin
But hey, that's the price for the life she's lead
