Ch. 2

Mitch's pov

I hope Jerome got the note. I walk into the Aether, but to be immediately be stopped by a guard.

"You have been assigned to guard your friends in their quests." He said. I immediately thought of Jerome. The man showed me to a room an told me to wait here. I was then teliported onto Earth. In the form of a ghost. Yay. I wondered around until I saw Sky fighting. He was taking out a lot of squids until he was stabbed. I gasped and ran to him. He was still alive. I ran away and I saw a girl running. I rustled the bushes and led her to where Sky lies. She runs away from Sky and I follow her. She ran into a snow biome and reaches a place with a lot of people.

"There is a boy out there. He needs immediate help!" She says. 'I needed immediate help.' I thought to myself. I followed them until they reached Sky. His life is in their hands now.

Sky's pov

I feel cold hands putting me on a stretcher before I fell unconscious. I awake in an imfirmary somewhere cold. I open my eyes to see a nurse an Olivia standing next to my bed, along with a random boy.

"Ok good. He's awake. He should be ok from here, only a lot of pain." The nurse said before walking out.

"Sky, are you the only one out there?" Olivia asks. I shake my head no. "Look, we need to find them. How many are out there?"

"Uhh, there's Jerome, Seto, and Jason, hopefully. So about three.'' I croaked out.

"Ok. While John here tells that to our search team, how about I show you around?" She asks.

"Ya. That might get my head off of some things that happened not to long ago." I reply. We walk out and she shows me around. Olivia tells me that this is the Snow Army and they are also raging a war against the squids.

"Here you are. This is your tent. You will be sleeping here until your friends come." She says. I walk in and everything is budder themed! The bed felt like budder, but never made my hands greasy! I was awestruck!

------two days later!-----

I woke to the sound of fire and squid tentacles grabbing me. They pulled me outside with Olivia and me being pushed into a car. The squids knocked us out and we woke in a cell with Jason an another kid.

"Jason! Are you guys ok?" I asked them. That's when I noticed Jason was crying and had his spacesuit off. "Jason, what's wrong?"

"T-They are g-going to d-destroy m-my suit!" He said. I walked to him to comfort him.

"Who are you? I'm Sky." I ask the boy.

"I'm Seto." He said.

"Your a sorcerer, right?" He nodded. "You can do magic, right?" He nodded again. "Why don't you bust us out? I mean c'mon. They'll probably kill me or Olivia, if not both!''

"Shh! I'm waiting for she that time comes. They'll take you out and I'll knock them out. That's when we'll escape." He says quietly. "And if that fails, I can heal you once I get my robe back." He says and I agree. Now all we have to do is wait. Wait for near death, or in a possible chance, total death. I sigh. I walk over to Olivia.

"Are you ok?" I ask.

"What if they kill us? And Seto can't heal us?" She asks me with a worried look. I sit down next to her.

"We'll be out of here, right?" She nods and lookers down. "Also, we can become ghosts and help avenge us. So we can always see our friends. Dead or Alive." I smile. I think of Mitch. He must have helped Olivia find me. "How did you find me?" I ask her.

"Well, there was this rustling in the bushes. So I walked to it and it stooped and another rustled, so I followed that. And so on and so forth until I saw you down. You had a pulse, so I ran to my base to get help. You woke up when we returned and when we put you on the stretcher, you passed out again. We took you home and patched you up and you woke up. You know what happens after that!" Sh explained. I laughed.

"But what if I don't remembered!" I say.

"Well then figure it out on your own." She tried to hold a strait face, but we burst into laughter, totally ignoring the fact that we could die soon. That's when the squids came in and took Seto, Jason, and Olivia away to a new cell. Aww shiz. This isn't good. I backed away into a corner.

"Don't worry, you wont die." It said as it pulled out a whip. I looked at the feel across from mine. They were chained to the back wall by their hands. Olivia was screaming my name, Seto was watching sorrowfully, and Jason wasn't watching at all. That's when I felt a sharp pain on my skin, along with a crack. I screamed in pain.

Olivia's pov

They chained us to the wall and we watched as we watched Sky got whipped. I was screaming his name. I knew Seto can't do anything. He almost got out of the chains, so they had to move him to a new room. About an hour later, they let Jason and me into the cell with Sky. He had whip marks all over his back. He was passed out. They let Seto in and he had his robe.

"Move." He said and we moved. He rubbed his hands together to create a purple mist. The scars stopped bleeding and became smaller.

"Stabbed and whipped. All in a four day time period! This poor boy!" I say. That's when Jason fell with an arrow in his side.

"Not again!" He said before passing out. We look to see a squid with a bow.

"Honostly, aiming for Sky." It said before swimming away.

"Ok. So Sky's down and so is Jason. WHAT NOW!" I say. That's when we hear a crash and the sound of a breaking neck. We see a fluffy thing.

"Hi." It says before letting us out.

"Jerome! Why are you here?" Seto asks.

Jerome shrugs. "Revenge and shiz." He opened the door. He looks at Sky and Jason. "What happened here?!" He asks.

"Uhh. Whips and arrows." I say. We pick them up and turn around to see an entire Squid Army at the door.
