"Ma, can Dion come over?" I ask. "Legend said he could"

"Yeah, does he have a ride?" She asks. I nod.

"He lives around the corner" I answer.

"Okay, but what is your sister doing?" She asks. I cock my head to the side. "Legend"

"Oh, she's in the living room talking to Nylah" I say.

"Tell her to come here" She says. I jog into the living room and stand in front of Legend.

"Ma said come here" I say then walk outside on the front porch. I text Dion to see where he is but before I could press send, I hear a horn beep.

I look up and see Dion getting out his sister's Camaro. He waves at her and jogs up to the stairs.

"There are a lot of cars here" He says. "Your sister here?" He asks.

"I got more than one sister D" I say turning and walking in the house with him behind me.

"Well one is gay so that only leaves London" He says. We walk into the game room and I set up Madden.

"It's a lot of tension around here" I say.

"How so?" He asks as he scrolls through the teams.

"Legend and Ny's brothers aren't cool, but nobody but them knows why" I say shrugging.

"You always so nonchalant nigga, why?" He asks. I look at him.

"What you mean?" I ask.

"You just so carefree" He says.

"I just be chilling, I don't have a reason to be any other way" I say smiling.

"I guess" He says. "What's the deal with you and Khari?" He asks referring to this girl I talk to.

"We just talking, nothing serious" I say.

"I got another question" He says causing me to groan and look at him.

"What D?" I ask pausing the game.

"How did your sister have a kid if she's gay?" He asks.

"That's none of your business" I answer blankly.

"But I'm curious" He says.

"Then you ask her" I say. He shrugs and I press play.

"No, he's just overprotective" I say to Justin as we sit in the sunroom.

"Babe, your dad said if I do the smallest thing to hurt you, he would have me in the ICU" Justin says.

"He's just trying to scare you" I say trying to make it sound believable.

"Really?" He asks. I shake my head.

"No, he'll actually have you in the ICU" I say.

"Has he done it before?" He asks lowly. I nod. "London" he whisper yells.

"What nigga? As long as we good, then you don't have none to worry about" I say patting his cheek.

"What did the last dude do?" He asks. I roll my eyes at the mention of my ex Jayden.

"That bitch nigga cheated on me with my god sister, got her hoe ass pregnant, then tried to put his hands on me" I say laughing at the last part.

"What's funny?" He asks.

"Cause it's funny, the day a nigga put his hands on me, is the day I go to jail and he gets 6 more ass bearings" I say smiling. He looks at me confused. "My brothers, sister, and parents"
