"I know where we are," His eyes blinked open, and he became more alert, "We've fallen into the Worlds."

"I don't understand..." you gave him a look.

"I know, it sounds crazy." He shook his head, "But it's a collection of worlds located under Earth in what you could say, another dimension. We must have fallen into the Worlds..."

"I walked into this... glowing, glitchy building before blacking out and waking up here, that must be how I got here. But, how did you get here? Do you know why you've got a bloody hole in you?"

"Well, my people and I, we call ourselves the Lionhearted, have been trying to uncover the Worlds." he explained, "Unfortunately... I was betrayed, and was shot down by a close member. They must have booked it before it could swallow them up, and dumped me in. You just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time."

You frowned, "I'm so sorry that happened. That was really uncool of them."

He chuckled, "Yeah... Pretty uncool is right... But I'll be fine."

You looked down at his wound, "Well, not yet with that wound of yours. We should clean it up at the very least. We can't risk you getting an infection."

"Why are you being so kind to me?" He asked.

"Why wouldn't I be?" you responded, beginning to clean the wound with his jacked and some water, a hiss of pain escaping his lips, "And yeah... Sorry this might hurt a bit."

"I guess I'm just not used to people... helping me." he sighed.

"Not even your people?" You raised an eyebrow.

"No... Not really... It seems they were more worried about themselves." He cleared his throat, "Anyway, my name's Porter, what's yours?"

"Oh yeah, introductions," you laughed, "My name's (Y/N)."

"Well (Y/N), its nice to meet- Ah!" he scrunched his eyes up in pain.

"Sorry! I'm almost done!" You said then smiled, "...Its nice to meet you too."

The day turned to night, and you had to search for firewood on your small piece of land. Luckily, there were a few trees around and  you were able brake off some branches and pieces of bark. You stumbled upon a few unknown berries and fruits that were growing on the trees, you just hoped they were safe to eat.

Porter lay on the grass, his hand on his wound as he looked up at the strange stars. How were they going to get out of here? They were trapped on a floating island with nothing else around but more floating lands and clouds. He knew there was more, he just had to figure out how to find a civilization of some sort, or a place with more resources.

"Hey," You interrupted his thoughts.

"Oh, hey." he turned his head to you, "What did you find?"

"More than I thought, actually." You said, dropping your stuff onto the ground and getting onto your knees, "I got some wood and fruit, I just hope its not poisonous."

"Let me see them." he held out his hand.

"Hey, you've already got a injury, no way am I letting you 'taste test' this berries." you said, "I probably shouldn't have even picked them."

"Hey, trust me, I'll be fine." he smiled, his hand extending further.

"Fine..." You hesitated before handing him a purple berry.

He put it in his mouth, chewed, and swallowed. So far, nothing was happening so he must be oka-

Porter lurched and began to cough, his body shaking as he hacked into his hand.

"Porter?!" you rushed over to him, "Porter?!"

Suddenly, he immediately stopped, "I'm kidding, I'm kidding its okay."

You lightly slapped his arm, "You scared the crap out of me!"

"You should have seen your face!" he chuckled.

You blushed, but found yourself laughing with him, "Well, at least we know its safe to eat!"

You picked up a blue fruit and examined it, "Do you want this one? It looks good."

Porter tried to sit up on his own, but only found himself falling back onto his back. You put a hand on his back and helped him sit up, putting his back against your bag for support.

"Thanks." he said, sucking in a breath.

"It's no problem," you smiled, "Here."

You handed him the fruit and he took a bite, "Wow. Thats actually pretty good! Wanna bite?"

"Uh, sure." You took the fruit and bit into it, sweetness immediately filling your mouth. It didn't have the same taste as any other fruit you had before, it was almost like a caramel apple if you had to choose. You held back the thoughts that you just had an indirect kiss with the stranger.

Back and forth you ate the strange fruit as you made a decent fire. You sat next to Porter, your conversations slowly fading as you both stared into the fire.

Your eyes began to droop, and the next thing you knew, dreamland surrounded you.
