Ron watched nervously, rubbing his hands together. The whole world seemed to fade into slow motion as the door at the far end of the church began to open. He felt his heartbeat get faster, as if his heart was going to jump out if his chest. He smiled as he saw Dominique and Rose begin to walk down the aisle.

"Daddy!" Rose squealed when she spotted him. Dominique had to hold extra tightly on her hand so she didn't run away. Behind the two youngest girls were Angelina and George, followed by Percy and Luna, then Bill and Fleur, then Victoire and Charlie and lastly Harry and Ginny. The pairs made their way down the aisle, splitting and seperating at the front: girls on one side, men on the other. Ginny and Harry parted and there stood Hermione.

Ron felt as if the already slow world had come to a stop all together. Everything and everybody froze around him. In that moment, he didn't care about anything else in the world except Hermione. She looked so beautiful. Her hair was pinned up, with a few curls framing her rosy face. Her slender figure was dressed in slim-fitting ivory satin and her veil was designed with tiny diamonds that sparkled whenever the light hit them.

And then he felt it. Something warm and wet was running down his face. He was crying. He bit his lip, trying to fight back his tears. George nudged his arm, miming a single tear mockingly. Mr Weasley and Hermione made their way to the alter, where Mr Weasley let go of her arm, smiling warmly at the both of them. Hermione took Ron's hands, her soft fingers intertwining perfectly with his. Ron gulped. Never before had he felt this way. He had loved Hermione for years, but never had he felt like this. The love he felt was so strong he hadn't even known it existed until that very moment.

"You look...perfect" he whispered. She blushed. Looking downwards in embarrassment, it was like she 13 all over again, and she was grabbing Ron's hand in Care of Magical Creatures, and shuffling awkwardly away, her heart fluttering. And her heart was fluttering again now, and she was holding Ron's hand, but there was no awkward shuffling this time.

The ceremony only lasted about 20 minutes. Both Ron and Hermione knew Rose wouldn't sit quietly through anything longer. And before they knew it, they were really tying the knot.

"Do you, Ronald Bilius Weasley, take Hermione Jean Granger to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do"

"And do you, Hermione Jean Granger, take Ronald Bilius Weasley to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do"

"Then by the magic vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife...Mr Weasley, kiss your Mrs!"

"Hermione Weasley - I always told you it had a ring to it " Ron joked.

"Weasley-Granger thankyou very much" Hermione smirked.

"Oh whatever"

And their lips collided. Ron cupped her face. His wife's face. A sea of applause arose from the crowd. Mrs Weasley was sobbing into a handkerchief. Fleur and Ginny were both wiping tears away from their cheeks, and as Ron drew away from the kiss, he could've sworn he saw George trying to hide his watery eyes.

Ron and Hermione joined hands and began to walk up the aisle. Suddenly, only a few steps up, Hermione felt the floor whisked from beneath her. Ron's arm had scooped up her legs and he was carrying her up the aisle.

"Ronald!" she giggled, "Put me down!"

"Make me." He laughed and kissed her again.

As they approached the doors at the end of the church, Ron stopped walking. Little Rose was waddling along behind them.

"Me! Me! My turn daddy!" She looked up at her father hopefully. Ron carefully placed Hermione back down on the floor and proceeded to scoop Rose up with one swift wave. Rose let out a high pitched squeal of happiness as she soared off the ground. Hermione laughed at them: her daughter and her husband. Her daughter had certainly inherited Ron's foolishness. And so they exited the church, followed by the rest of the bridal party and then the guests.
