Chapter 5.
I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing. It’s about 9:15. I answer the phone, still half asleep.
“Hello?” I ask softly
“Morning, beautiful!”
“HEY DAD!” I hadn’t heard from my dad since before I left for Vidcon. We talked for a few minutes and I got ready for the second day of Vidcon. I had one more day and then I would be gone. I had to leave a few days early because I had to go to a family reunion. I shower, get dressed, do my makeup and hair, and walk out of my room. I look down the hall and hear another door opening. It’s Connor!
“Hey Ashley!” he says from down the hall.
“Hey Connor!” I reply.
“Off to Vidcon again huh? Haha” he laughs
“yep! Tomorrow is my last day!” I say frowning.
“Really?! Why?!”
“I have a HUGE family reunion, and I have to leave a few days early for it…” We keep talking about Vidcon on our way to our cars. We don’t see much of each other at Vidcon today. I was kind of sad about that.
I got back to the hotel at like 9 o’clock. Connor texted me asking if I wanted to come to his room. Of course I said yes!
