Love and Hate

(Eren's POV)

I stared at Levi in disbelief, he loved me? I didn't understand. The man that has been ordered to kill me, loves me?

"I-I have to go" Levi said as he jumped off my lap and ran out the door, I just sat there looking at the door where Levi had been standing. "He loves me.." I said in a low whisper.

"Yes he does, and because of you my bother is going to die" I shot my head up in the direction of the voice to see none other then Mikasa, she stepped out of the shadows to come to my bedside.

"He was given orders by our father to kill you, then with you dead you parents would be weakened without you both emotionally and physically. Then we would attack and kill the rest of your organization, you are your parents weakness and they are yours."

I glared at her but her face stayed the same, "My brother made the mistake of falling for you and now he's going to die" 

My face scrunched up in confusion "I don't understand, how will he die if he loves me?" Mikasa looked even more upset at my question. "Because Levi and I didn't get a perfect life like you did, do you want to know what we were blessed with?! A heartless father, a broken mother, and countless men and women that have used us and gallons of blood on our hands from the age of 13!"

By the end of her speech, she was breathing heavily. "Levi is the only good family I have left, I am willing to die for him. The real question here is are you?" I looked at her and got up from the bed and stood in front of her.

"I don't know who you think you are but last time I checked, your last name is Ackerman, and I don't work with Ackermans" I turned away from her and started to pack up my things picking up my helmet that now had scratches all over it.

I glared at it but put it away I paused when I felt the cold barrel of a gun against the back of my head "I should kill you where you stand, I should have known you're just like the rest of the scum that has just used Levi over and over."

I turned to face her "I'd like to see you try, if I've heard right your brother is better then you both ways" She raised and eyebrow "Oh, I meant in the battle field and in bed" I say with a smirk. She glared and shoved the gun harder into my head.

"You really want to be shot don't you?" I laughed "You're not going to kill me" She raised a brow and cocked the gun "Oh really, what makes you think that?" I smirked and leaned forward "If you were going to kill me it would have been the second Levi left, plus you need my help." 

She glared "The only reason you're still alive is because Levi loves you and killing you means hurting him, plus if you're not going to help then I will kill you where you stand" I turned away from her and pulled on my jacket.

"I need a favor" She snorted "And what makes you think I'll do it?" I glared at her over my shoulder" Because I'm not going to let that sexy brother of yours die, now go get me my weapons before it's to late." I said with a smirk.

It's good to be back, I'm coming Levi.
