chapter thirteen

I am sitting across from my mom in her study she was talking to me about losing my virginity. like does she really think I am a virgin I'm eighteen I swiped that card junior year in London then she gets up "Let me demonstrate" she says walking to the copier and takes out a piece of paper and a pair of scissors she holds up the paper "Say this is you and your purity and virginity" then she holds up the scissors "And say this is a boy a stupid, stupid boy" then she starts cutting up the paper then holds it up "This is what happens when you sleep with a guys it will ruin you. So I suggest you never ever do it" she says setting down the paper and walks out of the study. I stare at the paper I don't think I will ever look at paper the same way. ever. I walk out of the study and see Alec I sit down next to him and take some popcorn from him "what did mom talk to you about" He ask with a mouth full of popcorn I sigh "She gave me 'the talk'" I say air quoting the talk

he chuckles "Why isn't it a little late for that"

I nod then he speaks up again "Did she do the paper and scissor demonstration?"

"Yeah. I will never look at paper the same way" I say adding a fake shiver at the end

"yeah mom isn't the best at giving the talk" he says

I nod and look at the t.v. but I get really tired and end up falling asleep.

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock I groan and turn it off do I really have to go to school I mean my locker still looks like trash so I've been putting my stuff in Brittany's locker but on top of that I have to face Archer after our little make out session and the awful talk that followed it is gonna be awkward and I still have to go to soccer practice. I shower and put on my make up and walk to my wardrobe I pull out a black and white halter crop top and white jeans I put my belly ring in because you can't wear it for soccer and pack my gym bag I look at my sun and moon wrist tattoo's before walking out (I love looking at my tattoo's) I take my bike and pull on my leather jacket and drive to school I park next to Alec's truck and walk inside. I walk to Brittany's locker and put the combo in I shove my stuff into it her locker and take out my books and put them into my black Nike bag I walk to my first class which I had with Archer but I can just avoid him.

Ignoring him was harder than I thought because he was always with on of my friends but it's lunch my favorite part of school. I sit next to Brittany and Mariana at our usual table far away from Missy and her bitches I was about to eat my french fries but the box was taken from my tray and I stand up to look at the thief that stole my fries let's just say I was not in a good mood and that didn't help I stand up and look at Logan with Archer and William next to him "what the hell" I say that kid really pisses me off sometimes I snatch my fries back well at least I try to "Snatching is rude Jackson" he say I look at Archer remembering the day of the beach when he told me the samething . Stop thinking about him that little bitch Logan stole your fries. I smile fakely "So I have been told" I say sarcastically "But so is stealing so give me my fries" I say placing my hand out he puts the fries in my hand and sits down and so do Archer and William

"What do you think you are doing" I ask them

"Sitting with you guys" archer responds in a duh tone

I dryly chuckle "No you aren't"

"Not"

"Will both of you shut up who cares where they sit?" Brittany say

"I do. I care I am sick and tired of drama" I say getting out of my chair and leaving the cafeteria. I know what you're thinking wow she is dramatic but the thing is drama is second nature to them and I maybe the bad girl but I am tired of punching preppy girls and sappy feelings for some dick a.k.a Archer. I walk to Britt's locker and grab my bag I take out a screwdriver and walk to my locker where whore is still written in faded bold letters I unscrew the hinges and walk to Missy's locker and take her door off I end up switching them out so I have the nice door and hers looks shitty I know it's not the best way to stay out of drama but it is revenge and that was my mission.

I walk to the library and sit there till the bell for next class rings I groan and walk to chemistry which I had with Brittany but Archer was in that class and so was Mia I walk extra slow trying to avoid going to class I was about halfway there when the tardy bell rings I pick up my pace because I don't want to miss the whole lesson I walk in about two minutes after the tardy bell I walk to the middle of the classroom and sit next to Britt "Faye why were you late?" I shrug

"Well just to inform you we will be doing a research report and your partner will be..." he pauses and looks at the roster "Archer Kennedy" I groan "Can't I just do it by myself?" I ask

"No you will work with Mr. Kennedy and that is final if you have a problem with that you can leave and I will discuss this with you in the hallway"

I stand up grabbing my bag and walk out sorry but I don't want to work with him I am standing in the hallway and Alec walks by "Faye what are you doing out here" He ask I sigh knowing he will get mad "My teacher told me to leave because I don't want to work with Archer" He looks at me "Really Faye you are willing to risk getting in trouble because you don't like Archer" I nod "Yep" I lied it's not that I don't like him, it's that I like him too much I have no clue what to do but I do know is that I am not going to turn into some sap because of him.

Faye stands up and walks out of class. Is she really that pissed at me I don't even know what I did like does she even like me. What is she doing to me before her I had girls falling at my feet but now I am rejecting them left and right because of her.

I raise my hand

"Yes Archer?"

"Um I think I'm sick can I go to the nurse?"

He sighs "Yes come get a pass"

I walk to his desk and take a pass from him I walk to the hallway and see Faye standing there looking at the ground "Mr. Gore I-" she starts but stops when she realizes it's me "Oh what do you want?" she asked "Faye what is wrong? What did I do?" I ask getting to the point "Archer it's nothing it's me being me. tell Mr. Gore I said I would work with you okay?" She says "Okay whatever I'll come over today after practice and we can work on the paper"

"Fine whatever" she says and with that she walks away

I walk to the library because ever since I was little I would come and read and it helped me think or figure things out but I will never go back to that helpless little nerd I was freshmen year I am back and badder than ever!!!!!
