"Adriaaaaaaan, you finally answered meeeeee!" His father Freddy squealed in his phone with the slightest English accent. "I've missed you soooooo much. You're such a brat! How dare you not call your dads! You don't even text me back."

Adrian was sitting on the couch rolling a blunt while his friends quietly drank on the floor.  "Sorry, pa. You know that I'm busy with school and stuff."

"We're all over the globe and we take the time to contact you. I FaceTime you, text you, call you only to be ignored! You're killing me!" His pa had to be the most dramatic person in the world.

He didn't understand how he and his father Nigel got along so well. He was over the top and Nigel was so down to earth. They were both amazing in their own ways, but so different.

"You're so dramatic." He placed his blunt on the table, aware that it would be a while before he could smoke it. "Where's dad?"

"He's in Cambodia shooting some film that I would have no interest in because I'm not into the exist-existe... Whatever, bullcrap."

"Existentialism, pa." He corrected for his extra father.

"I don't give a bloody damn what it is! It requires too much muck." He lowered his voice. "I'm too pretty for nature.... Well, since you're not interested in your dear pa, I'll tell you what I'm up to."

Adrian let out an exasperated sigh, gaining the attention of his friends. "What are you up to?"

"You lost your chance to ask. Anyways, I'm in- dun dun dun- MILAN! It's fabulooooous. My models are absolutely GORGEOUS! One of them, Nina, is so looooooovely. She's a doll. I adore her so much that I want to bring her back to the States with me and have her model every piece I create! I'm going to adopt her as my fashion child."

"How's the fashion show going?"

"GREAT! Do you want some Moschino jackets? You want anything? I'll send it to you. Actually, I'll give you my credit card numbers, buy whatever you want online. Don't exceed fifteen hundred though. Buy winter things."

"Okay, Pa. Thanks. When are you coming back?" He questioned with a grin. His pa was always so generous.

"Aww, I have not the slightest idea... But you know we're always back in the summer time. I'll probably drop by for Christmas, my heart.... Where's your mum?"

Adrian rubbed his face, aware of how terribly this could end up. "I haven't seen or heard from her in days. Like, Sunday she was supposed to have dinner with her boyfriend but never showed up at home to tell me anything. I don't know where she could be."

"I absolutely hate leaving you with that woman. She doesn't know the slightest thing about raising a fucking child but had the nerve to try and take us to court for custody. She's rarely ever at home to take care of you." He sniffled. "It makes me want to cry. I love you soooooo much and to rarely see you is a terrible feeling. If it was up to me you'd be with me everywhere I go but Nigel's mom said that's not good for a child. Oh, Adrian! Do you eat?"

"I buy food on my way to school and on my way home...."

Freddy let out and extra loud gasp. "Poor boy! You're seriously making me consider settling down somewhere to take care of you. You're living terribly."

Adrian rolled his eyes once more. His pa said this every time they spoke to each other. He loved being a stylist too much to give it up. Traveling the world was his fathers dreams. Both of them had jobs that never kept them rooted in one place.

"Pa, I'm almost grown. You know as soon as I'm done with school I'm moving out to San Fran to stay at the house."

Christopher turned and chuckled at him while he spoke on the phone.

"I have a love and hate relationship with seeing you every summer, darling. I wish I could see you everyday. Nigel feels the same way. I'm telling you, I should be settled in one place next year. We might move out to L.A. Beverly Hills, baby! Won't that be nice? Imagine shopping on Rodeo Drive."

"Yeah, pa. Wherever you guys want to go, I'm cool."

"Anyways, how's your friends? You have any new friends?"

Adrian leaned off the bed to slap Jesus upside the head for grabbing his foot. "Y-eah. I'm actually with my friends right now. I expanded my group a little."

He was too busy struggling with Jesus to fight back when Chris snatched his phone.
"Hi, Freddy!" Chris started over the noise that was Adrian complaints, jumping towards the boiler room. "Oh, I'm fine....  Yeah.... He's here.... Of course........ Yep..... Yeah, I'm so serious." He moved to the other side of the room. "No, not a girl.... A boy.... His name is Julius Griffen. G-R-I-F-"

"Gimme my phone!!!" Adrian shouted, wresting to get Jesus off of him. They were so annoying.

"I'm straight and I think he's cute...." His Ugandan friend winked at him. "I don't think they're dating.... They're like- whatever.... Nah, he's not gay.... I think he's bisexual.... He said he hooked up with another guy at a party. It was apparently the craz-"

"Hello?" Adrian spoke breathlessly, sending Christopher the evil eye.

"ADRIAAAAAAAAAAAAN!" His father squealed. "You like boys! Oh yessss, now I can give the 'talk'. Ohmigosh are you a bottom?! Top? Booooth??? I'm sooooooo excited. I thought you were strictly fish!"

"Um, calm down. It's not that serious.... I've never really liked anyone before... So I don't know if I've always liked guys. I mean they're attractive and all b-"

"Nevermind all that, all I wanna know is if I need to give you the talk and some fatherly advice."

The caramel skinned boy exhaled in frustration so deep that his lips quivered. His father was a mess.

"No, I'm cool."

"Oh! I'm so happy you're finally doing something interesting!" His father exclaimed. "I love you, but you're so boring."

Jesus grabbed his leg. "Tell your dad to find me a boyfriend just in case Tisha dumps me and I give up on girls."

"Jesus said find him a girlfriend."

His dad chuckled. "Put me on speaker, darling."

Adrian did as told, placing his phone on the table.

"Call me when you're eighteen." His dad suggested smugly. They could hear him winking as they all laughed very loudly.

"Daaaaaad." The pothead rubbed his face.

"Bye, darling. I love you and miss you soooo much. Bye his home skillets."

He rolled his eyes. "Bye, pa. I love you, too."

He hung up, snapping his head towards Chris. "He's gonna tell my dad.... Pa is the cool one, dad gets.... Weird. Fuck, I don't wanna deal with him." He groaned, expecting his other father to call in a couple days to give him a huuuuuge lecture on being safe like they weren't total whores themselves.

He didn't feel like hearing about sex anymore. Julius was already sexual enough for him. Since Saturday, while he hasn't touched him, the things he's usually muttering in his ear in class, the hallways, and after school are very reckless.

Adrian had no idea what he was going to do but head didn't seem enough anymore.
