After all that had happened frizz decided it was best him and Kells stayed low.

Kells laid in his bed as his stereo played lil uzi vert.

He hadn't got out of bed all day and decided it was time to take a shower at 2pm

Shai fumbled through her bag looking for her spare key to frizz's house

He opened the door dripping as he had just finished showering
"Hey baby" he said leaning down to kiss her but she moved his face

His face scrunched up in confusion
"What I do now?"

She laughed "what haven't you done? it's been almost 2 weeks"

Frizz sighed "I ain't ready to tell him yet!"

Shai nodded "I know but until you can man up and do as I asked, I'm good on us" she gave him the spare key

He shook his head "you don't understand"

She snickered lightly "no, you don't understand I know my brother and I know this wouldn't be that big of a deal but I get it"

He walked away "okay shailah
(shy-luh), what you need to be public so bad for anyway?!"

"Why not? Are you hiding me from them bitches you be having grind on you in the club ? Like wassup, tell the truth"

He laughed "yo you tripping b"

She nodded as she walked for the door

Kells stepped out of the shower, hungry as hell.

He walked into the kitchen to see Shai and an unknown woman sipping on Hennessy as they laughed and talked.

He quickly looked at his sisters friend up and down, she had beauty and looked "different" to him.

He didn't know how but he just had a feeling.

Shai noticed his eye quickly "don't stare, that's rude!"

He sucked his tooth "who said I was staring ? I'm observing, I just wanted to know who she is"

Shai looked at her friend "that's Dejah, she go to college with me.. That's all"

He nodded "oh okay"

Dejah looked at Kells back muscles as he walked down the hall with his towel around his waist

"You never told me you had a brother Shai" she said sipping on her drink

Shai smirked " Nobody want to talk about things that embarrass them" she laughed

Dejah laughed too "he must have a lot of girls throwing it at him because he's fine as hell"

Shai made a fake gesture throwing up "but yeah, he's well known a lot of girls do want him for his money or just to say they been with him but he don't be into them, most of the time  they just become a booty call if that"

Dejah was disappointed in her answer "so what does he do?"

Shai lifted an eyebrow "we living fabulous in the projects, what you think?"

Both of them had come from tough backgrounds so it was easy for D to put 2 and 2 together.

Silence sat in the kitchen as they continued to get tipsy

"Me and Kells been on our own since we was 15, he never let me starve no matter what. We 21 now and till this day he's never let me struggle. A mother that ran off before our first birthdays and a drunk abusive dad. And I've only seen him cry once his whole life..."
Shai stopped herself "I'm sorry I'm getting so deep"

D laughed "you're good girl, we all been through shit,going through shit.. Gotta get through shit... My dad hustled my whole life, I wouldn't be able to go to college if he hadn't.. The men in our lives sacrificed for us"

Shai nodded she was drunk as hell, she grabbed her phone as a text popped up

Frizz: I miss you

She laughed a little before she replied "fuck you"

She tried to get up and walk but it was so blurry... D was damn near passed out on the couch

Kells heard his sister holding on to the walls in the hallway and got up and carried her into her room. He placed her on the bed kissing her forehead and left out.

He walked into the living room to see Dejah sleep on the couch, he got a blanket and placed it over her "damn you're so beautiful" he said under his breath before walking away

A faint "thank you" in the distance

Frizz looked at the text, he kept calling Shai over and over. His anger was getting to him.

He was fed up, he wanted to make her angry, he felt like she no longer cared...

He grabbed his phone calling Alyssa, his ex

It wasn't long before Alyssa showed up to his place .

"I missed you so much" he said kissing on her neck

She still was in love with him, she had caused enough problems for Shai already and this wouldn't be the last, she felt like she had won her man back.

He bent her over and inserted his member. They had sex and passed out in his black sheets before day light had come up.

Jade sat on her toilet crying, pregnancy was not in her plans no time soon.

She had fucked so many niggas while terry was locked up.

She didn't know what to do

Knock knock "baby you in there?"

Terry's voice calmed her through the wall

"Yeah I'll be out in a second"

She couldn't hurt him, not like this.
