15 [prt. 1]

Marcus closed his laptop, double checking his itinerary

He grabbed his bags and called a cab

It took him under 30 minutes to arrive at the airport

He didn't even tell chubs he was flying to Houston, he would just call when he got there...

He was still nervous, leaving behind his life for an unsure future with an unsure man

Dejah caressed the small curls on Kells head, he hadn't had a haircut in weeks.

"Baby?" She said breaking the calm silence

"Yes" he said watching the TV, with his head in her lap

"I want to tell you something ?"

He laughed "so say it Dej, don't beat around the bush baby"

She let out a breathe "I want to have a baby, I want to get married, I'm sure that I want to spend everyday for the rest of my life with you"

Kells sat up "I believe I want to spend the rest of forever with you too baby it I don't want us to rush life."

Dej sighed "what is there being rushed ? We are in love and we both want this forever so ?"

Kells shrugged "you gotta give me time to think shorty especially about the baby"

Dej nodded before laying down and putting the covers over her, she didn't understand.

Kells said nothing else, he knew he'd upset her. He got up and headed to the trap.

When he arrived things were usual But he didn't feel right. He knew there were some people that were upset that Joseph planned to hand it all over to him, especially if they had been working for Joseph for years

As he sat back counting all the money that came in for the day, he realized it was short. He re counted over and over before realizing someone was stealing.

He didn't know whether to handle shit on his own or tell Joseph.

Diamond walked in Frizz's house as she pulled off her coat and sat down in the living room

Frizz reached over to touch her stomach but she pushed him off

"The fuck YOU got an attitude for Diamond?" He said with an attitude

She rolled her eyes "first off, you're gonna stop talking to me any ole type of way because I'm not the one. Two, we not cool like that, you'll touch the baby once they get here"

Frizz scoffed "IF it even is my baby, if not I don't give a fuck"

She rolled her eyes "this is your baby, I wasn't fucking nobody else but I probably should've so I wouldn't have to deal with your crazy ass"

Frizz stood up "you think I'm crazy ? IM TIRED OF MOTHERFUCKERS CALLING ME CRAZY! I AINT FUCKING CRAZY!" He was now in her face

She looked at him wildly "you can sit your ass down, you must be crazy if you think you finna be all up on my face like this because the minute you touch me... that's your life. I promise"

Frizz shook his head "who gon fuck me up ?! Not you"

Diamond stood up in his face "ima leave before shit get CRAZY because trust me, me and this baby do not need you"

Frizz exploded, he threw a punch to the back of diamonds head as she walked away

Once he realized what he had done , he tried to help her up but she pushed him away before running out the house

Terrance poked holes in all of the condoms before throwing them in the box. His only thoughts were if Shai was pregnant, she'd probably marry him.

He picked up his phone as a call from Shai came through, she wanted to go out tonight and he was surprised that he didn't have to beg for her company

He obliged as he got up and brushed his teeth in the mirror

"What you doing today?" Jessie said as she walked by the bathroom

He shrugged "nothing, but I'm going out tonight"

Jessie's face scrunched up "you BEEN going out, no you gotta watch TJ tonight, I'm going out"

Before he could reply she walked away

He rolled his eyes, he was annoyed.

He didn't feel like staying in and watching his son, he called a baby sitter and continued on

Chubs woke up to heavy knocks on his door

Shai came in with a stack of pancakes with strawberries and whip cream on the top

He smiled and sat up to began eating

"I knew this would cheer you up ?"

He laughed "yeah for right now"

She fake pouted "stop it! Everything will come together. Cool out"

He shrugged " you don't know what it felt like realizing I was coming home alone. Like in my head, I guess I still felt like we were together through all the space and time. Let down ? Understatement. Realizing that the other person isn't on the same page feels like shit. Realizing your thoughts weren't a reality... and they just don't feel the same. It hurts"

Shai thought about how Terrence must feel but moved it to the back of her brain. "Well you gotta get out of bed and breathe to move on"

He waved her off "where's Kells ?"

She shrugged

He reached under the pillow and grabbed his phone to call him and check up

But his heart stopped seeing the text from Marc

He jumped up and threw on clothes.

Shai watched as he looked like maniac "ok?"

He grabbed car keys and looked at her as he walked out leaving her on his bed "it's not over, it's not over, I'll be back.. YOU'LL SEE!"

She shrugged before she got a text from Kareem, a guy she'd met recently in Houston also.

Chubs waited nervously as he watched people spill around all directions in the airport

He looked down at his phone waiting for a reply before he felt a light tap on his shoulders

"Looking for me?" Marcus said with his suitcase by his side

Chubs hugged him tightly around the waist

Marc plastered the biggest smile across his face as he wrapped his arms around chubs shoulders "I love you Quentin, I'm sorry"

Chubs pulled away "I love you too baby..... what are you sorry for ?"

Marc shrugged "letting you walk away"

Chubs shook his head " where'd I go ? I'm still here, in love with you..... so let's go"

He grabbed Marc's suitcase and they headed home

The whole way there chubs could do nothing but smile like a big kid

Marc looked out the window at everything they drove by , he was nervous about starting this new life

He leaned over and kissed chubs on the cheek as he drove "im happy to be here with you"

Chubs looked over "I won't let you down"
