Alluring

Chapter one

The cold night air wraps around me sending shivers down my spine. All that could be heard was the sound of my bare feet gently hitting the cold damp road. I look around me taking in my surroundings once again only to find nothing but trees a couple of street lights and a dark road ahead of me. Your probably wondering why I am out walking alone in the cold at night. Well you can blame my friends Christina and Isabella as they are the ones who forced me to a party that I had no intention of going to.

Suddenly I was ripped from my thoughts as an ears piercing scream was heard. It was definitely a girl and it was close by too. I stop in my tracks when I see two shadows near an alleyway. The moonlight shone in providing a little light for me to see what was happening. The whimpers that were coming out of the girls mouth were constant and you could see all the tears streaming down her face.

I ducked down behind a bush and curiously watched. The guy pushed her against the wall harshly and inched closer to her neck. She turned away in order to escape his stare that was looking right into her soul. I watched as she tightly shut her eyes and opened them only to make eye contact with me.   I watch as she opens her mouth and whispers to me. I didn't get everything she said but what I did get was 'Run'.

I get up off the grass silently hoping to make it past without catching the guys attention but I failed when I saw him dig his teeth into the girls neck. A gasp left my mouth followed by a scream when the girls lifeless body fell on the cold cement. A pair of red eyes found mine and a low growl escaped the mans mouth. "Well well well what do we have here?" His voice was deep and almost enough to make me run in fear even without the murder I just saw. "I-I didn't see a-anything." I stutter as I slowly back away. In a flash I was against the cold wall with the person I front of me. "You smell so good." He growls as his head gets closer to my neck. I let out a scream and try pushing him away from me.

"Feisty, Just the way I like them." My eyes widen in fear and a whimper escapes my mouth as sharp fangs shoot from his mouth. "Don't worry this won't hurt for long." I felt the tips of his fangs glide against my delicate skin causing me to scream hoping it will get me help. A shadow appears from the bushes where I was and starts making its way over to us. As it got closer I could hear the growl coming from its mouth. When he finally reached us the moonlight revealed his appearance.

He was probably the most handsome man I had ever seen. His skin was tan, his dark brown eyes were so dark I could stare at them all day and that hair, the black hair he had made me hold back a strong temptation of wanting to run my fingers through it. I was snapped from my thoughts when this handsome man grabbed the other guy and slammed him against the wall. "Get lost Ramen, I don't ever want to see your ugly ass around here again." His voice made me weak at the knees and I just wanted to put him on constant replay.

"Seth is that you? Your so grown up now, tell me Seth is dad still around?" "That's not of your business you left you don't deserve to know. Now leave this girl alone and get the hell out of here." "Oh but she's my snack not yours. You wouldn't want me to die would you, your own brother dying cause you saved his snack." "Leave now." I watched as this guy let go of my saver Seth and stalked towards me. "I'll be back for you."

His words replayed in my mind over and over again. I watched as he took off in a flash leaving me with this Seth guy. I look to my left to see the guy was staring at me with hungry red eyes. He walked closer to me trapping me between him and the wall. He leans down to my neck and takes a deep breath in. A low growl escapes his mouth causing me to shiver. "What's your name?" His voice was so deep and alluring. "Harley." I whisper. "Well Harley your mine now." And that was the beginning of how my new life with something so unreal and alluring I just couldn't stay away.
