Alluring

Chapter seven

It's been about 10 minutes since Seth went in there and all i can hear is silence. Getting up and walking towards the bathroom door I knock gently before pressing my ear to the door. "Seth?" "Harley." His voice mocks me from the other side. I could basically see the smirk on his face right now. "Can you please come out? I'm sorry if I did something." It was silent for a minute before the door slowly opened revealing a tired and confused Seth. "You didn't do anything Harley." His voice was so calming I had no choice but to believe him.

"What is it?" I ask. "We kissed." Those two words that came out of his mouth left me confused. "So?" "So? We kissed, you can't get attracted to me. I'm a monster, designed to kill. I drink blood for gods sake, I kill people just like you, does that not bother you?" He shouts. I was slightly surprised at his shouting since I was so calm. "Seth I.." "No Harley.... Everything extracts you. My scent....My looks....My body....Everything! I don't want to hurt you. That's what's going to happen, I'm a vampire, Vampires don't fall in love but you Harley your human....We don't mix well." He interrupts.

"Look Seth what I was going to say was that I know what you are, I know you kill and I know you can hurt me. But you won't, you couldn't even if you wanted too. I'm slowly starting to trust you Seth but after what just happened I don't feel it's the best option. I mean you saved me from that man and from drowning. You saved me from your brother killing me for gods sake, Vampire or not I trust you and no matter what you say you are not changing my mind." It was so silent you could hear a pin drop and to be honest I didn't like it.

Suddenly I was distracted as my phone was ringing. I walk over to my bag and pull out my phone. "Hello?" "Oh hi mum look the date went well but we're spending the night at his place so I'll see you in the morning." "Yes mum I know, you can trust me." "Ok bye mum love you bye." I turned back around to see Seth was watching me with curiosity. "Can we just forget about it please?" I ask. The silence continued before he sighed and just nodded. "So where am I sleeping?" I ask yawning. He just points over to the bed as he continues doing whatever he was doing on his phone. "So where are you sleeping?" He walks over putting his phone on charge patting the bed while he's at it.

My body tensed and I felt as if my feet were glued to the floor. "Come on Harley don't worry I'm not going to try anything I promise." He strips his shirt off showing me his abs and amazing v-line. A couple of tattoos were on his arm. As he bent down to collect his pants from around his ankles causing me to blush as he was now in just boxers, I could see that there was some sort of weird symbol, a big S, the word Different and the word Immortal. I didn't even notice he was laying in the bed watching me until I felt as if I was being watched.

"Come on, I don't bite." There was silence before a deep chuckle came from him. "Hard." He finished. My body moved towards the other side of the bed so slowly but time seemed to go slower. Gently crawling in I lay on my side, my back facing him as I feel some movement before the lights went out and it was completely dark. My eyes were dropping quicker then I thought they would and I could feel myself slowly falling into sleep. Just before I went out completely I felt arms wrap around me pulling me closer before my back hit a warm yet hard surface and I felt little kisses being placed on my neck almost so gentle it tickled but I was too far gone to care.

I woke as a clash of thunder boomed causing me to jump and try to curl into the only bit of warmth...Seth. But when I opened my eyes completely even though it was dark i knew that he was not there. Being the curious person I am I got out of the warm bed and made my way downstairs in hope I would find him. There I saw him with a bag to his mouth as he devoured the red liquid known as blood immediately. A loud clash of thunder boomed again causing me to squeal a little and look around. I didn't realise Seth heard me until I heard him say my name.

"I was scared." I lie. He chuckles and turns around walking towards the bin where he dropped the now empty bag before walking over to me. "I'm here it's ok, your safe." He took me into his arms making me feel safe. "What were you doing?" I couldn't help but ask as we walked back upstairs. "I couldn't stand lying so close to you and being able to smell your blood. I had to get a snack." He answers as if it was 100% normal. "Oh."

We lied back down where he took me into his arms as I slowly began to drift back off to sleep.  But I just couldn't and I don't know why. "Seth?" "Yeah?" "What do all your tattoos mean?" "Well the big S is for my sister Sophie. Both words Different and Immortal mean you know...Vampire and then that weird symbol is one that both my parents and siblings have except for Sophie as she is too young. It means family basically." "Oh, I like them." He chuckles and pulls me closer burying his head in my neck placing those featherlight kisses there once again. I had no idea how but once again I managed to fall asleep so quick it almost didn't seem believable.
