Chapter eight

The sunlight shines in through the big window above the bed making me groan and bury my head in whatever it was that was keeping me warm. "Morning to you too." A deep chuckle came from above me and i opened my eyes to see Seth staring down at me. "What time is it?" I ask cuddling more no matter how embarrassing it was he kept me warm. "It is currently eight and my friends are coming over at 9 so are you going home?" "Trying to kick me out? Yes just so you know i do have to go home because I promised my mum I would be home this morning." He watched me with curiosity before he got up and made his way into the bathroom. I heard water start running so I assume he was taking a shower.

Minutes later he came back out with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist and I must say it should be illegal to have something so hot walking around like that. "Did you want breakfast cause I can make you something if you want?" "No thanks I'm ok I'll eat when I get home." Right then my phone wrang making me jump. "Hello?.......oh hi mum......yeah I did......I'm coming home soon I swear......oh.....that's ok I can stay by myself....you can trust me.....what if I stay with a friend?......umm Christina....ok thanks love you bye." Before she could say anything else I hung up putting my phone back. "What about Christina?" I heard Seth ask. "She's a good friend of mine. My mum is having a huge meeting with all her workmates at home the next few days and she wanted to see if I wanted to stay with my aunt but I said I'd stay with Christina." "Oh."

Grabbing my phone I ring Christina's number hoping she would pick up. "Hey Christina......do you think it's ok for me to stay at yours the next few nights?........oh that's ok I hope you have fun......yeah I'll be fine.....ok love you bye." "Poor little Harley has no where to go." "Wait how did you hea.." he cut me off pointing to his ears. "Vampire hearing." "Well I guess I'll stay with my aunt then." I mumble to myself. "Your staying with me." My head turns to look towards him to see if he was joking or not. "No Seth I can't, I stayed last night and it's not fair." "Harley I said your staying with me so your staying with me."

Silence fell between the two of us as I followed him downstairs. I don't know why but this morning things have been feeling a little awkward between us and to be honest I don't like it one little bit. "Umm Seth, you said your friends are coming over right? Are they Vampires as well?" I ask looking down nervously. He smirks at my nervous state and just nods his head. I couldn't help but feel panicked over this and sadly he noticed. "So let me guess your nervous because you'll be in a house full of vampires right?" I looked him in the eye seeing the curiosity flooding in them.

I wasn't about to let him know that he was right cause that would show that I'm weak. Well weaker then I feel at least. I didn't even realise he was right in front of me until I felt his breath on my neck. "Don't worry beautiful, I wouldn't let them hurt you." His words made me feel something, I'm not going to lie but that feeling was still unknown and uncomfortable to have. "You can trust me Harley. You do trust me right?" He tests as his lips placed light kisses along my jawline before his eyes locked with mine and his lips soon hovered over mine. "I-I-" "don't stutter love, it's not attractive."

With that he walked away leaving me standing there stunned. Right as I made it downstairs completely the doorbell rang telling me his friends were obviously here. I stood in the kitchen awkwardly as I watched everyone pile in each giving Seth a hug. "Guys this is Harley." I small waved at everyone as I felt the blush creeping up on my face. "Harley these are my friends Alex, Jordan, Demitri, Mason, Eleanor, Charlotte and Phoebe." Seth tells. "OMG your so pretty!" A girls voice comes from over near the group and I look to see one of the girls coming towards me. "Hi im Eleanor." She greets as she pulls me into a tight hug. I could see the look on Seth's face as he watched my every move with a smirk.

10 minutes later:
"So how did you meet Seth Harley?" Alex asks. "Umm he sort of saved me from being killed from his brother after I left a party my friends dragged me too." I tell. "Oh I was expecting something a little more exciting since Seth over here always has exciting things happening." Another guy laughed causing Seth to elbow him hard in the stomach. "Have you guys you know yet?" Eleanor asks leaning down so that no one else would hear but Vampire hearing didn't really come in handy in that situation cause I heard Seth chuckle before saying something to one of the guys. "No and I don't plan on letting that happen anytime soon." I reply.

"Oh damm I want another little vampire running around the place." She wines. "Another?" I question. "Oh yeah, me and Dimitri have a son Lucas. He's only one but he's already a handful, then again baby vampires always are." She laughs. "Where is he?" I ask. "Oh he's currently with my friends who wanted to babysit for me today, did you want to see a picture?" She asks grabbing her phone from her pocket. A second later she shows me the cutest baby boy ever. He had light blond hair that was slightly curly and in the picture he had the biggest smile ever. "He's cute." I giggle.

I never thought about kids before. I mean yeah sure my friend Christina and I spoke about it once but I never thought about it after that, I guess I've never found the right guy. "Harley did you hear me?" Seth asks. "Sorry what?" "I asked if you wanted to come with us to a club tonight. A friend of mine owns it and we can get in for free." "Oh umm yeah I guess so." I reply. "Great how about we all meet at the club at exactly 6?" A bunch of mumbled answers was heard before Seth walked them to the door. I waved goodbye to the girls before turning around to see a smirking Seth.

"What?" "Nothing don't worry." "No tell me please." "No it's nothing honestly." With that he walked upstairs leaving me standing there wondering what it could have been that was so funny.
