Title: Imperfections
Genre: Teen fiction
Summary: Katherine Davis was the school's golden girl. She got perfect grades, had great friends, and was involved in practicality every extra-curricular activity there is. But she had a secret.
Katherine was insecure. The perfect girl wasn't happy with herself. She always had to be better, more perfect, involved in more things. And she was tired of it. If it were up to her, she'd quit every sport, every club, every program. Her parents just pressurred her to do more, to include herself in everything. So, one day, she snapped.
She brought a gun to school, and started shooting, picking off the teachers, the club leaders, the kids who loved her, adored her.
Unfortunately, I was one of those kids. I was her best friend, and thanks to that, I'm half-dead, alone and scared, with the same question roaring through my mind: "Why?"
