"And, here we are!" she said, pulling into the driveway slowly.
I started to get out of the car and head to the back.
I made it to the back of the car.
Mom already beat me there.
"Here you go honey." she said handing me my bag.
"How-?" I asked before she cut me off.
"I love you honey! I hope you have a great first sleepover! Bye!" she said pushing me softly towards the door.
She walked to the car and shut the door.
I was standing right in front the door.
Mom drove away, as I was taking a deep breath in and out.
I slowly and softly knocked on the door, waiting for the door to open.
The door opened and it was Macy.
"Hey Bradey! Come on in!" she said, making room for me to enter.
I walked in, and she shut the door behind me.
"I thought you weren't gonna make it..." she said.
"Are you k-kidding? I-I would n-never miss my f-first sleepover!" I said.
"Well I'm really glad you came..." she said.
She's glad I came?
That comment made me smile because of how I never get to hear that.
