It was lunch time, and I was about to sit at my usual table and read.
As soon as I walked up to the table with my book in my hand, Nikki stepped in front of me, with her nose and one eyebrow up.
"I'm sorry. Who am I kidding? I'm not sorry. But the girls and I are sitting here today. So shoo shoo little magget!" Nikki snarled.
I couldn't do anything about it.
I had to find somewhere else to sit for lunch.
I left sluggishly and searched for somewhere to sit. But there was no table to sit at, because everyone pretended to have reserved seats for other people.
The only other place to sit was on the ground. Do I have to? Was I really gonna do this? I guess I have to since that's the only other option available.
So, I did. I found a wall to lean on while I sat and read.
It was actually pretty comfortable, I think.
