Chapter 17:

One week Later...

It has been one week after Cassandra was kidnapped. She had decided to stay at Darien's incase the werewolf's came looking for her.
It was finally Saturday and today Cassandra was gonna go meet up with Anna at the mall to pick out their Halloween costumes. Cassandra woke up early, and was out the door within ten minutes. Rosa had convinced Cassandra to let her tag along to pick out her own costume.

At the mall....

Cassandra and Rosa entered the mall and found Anna in the food court. Cassandra and Rosa sat down as well.

Anna:Hey, you made it.

Cassandra:Yah...

Anna looked at Rosa and then turned to Cassandra.

Cassandra:She wanted to come. Rosa this is my best friend Anna, Anna this is Darien's little sister Rosa.

Rosa:Nice to meet you.

Anna:Same here... Your so much more adorable up close.

Cassandra and Rosa laughed.

Cassandra:So should we get going?

The three got up and began to look around. The mall had three Halloween shops available. They first entered one that was called "HalloweenTown". (A/N:Where I live there's actually a Halloween store called HalloweenTown.) Cassandra looked at all the different costumes; from Princess' to Pirates. None of them caught her eye. Anna had spotted some light purple/light blue fairy wings. She purchased them quickly. Rosa looked at all the child costumes, there were from cats to candy corns. She purchased a Candy corn costume. They left the costume shop and headed to another called "All hallows eve" Anna looked around and saw a purple corset dress with a black rose pattern on it. She removed it from the rack and spotted a black fabric in back of a race car driver costume. She pulled the costume away and saw the fabric was part of a black corset dress with frilly skirt and what looked like two black roses on the right side of the top half. She removed it from the rack and ran over to Cassandra who was looking threw some masks.

Anna:Cassandra! I found something that is perfect for you.

She showed her the dress, Cassandra was a little unsure and Rosa smiled.

Rosa:It's perfect.

Cassandra:I don't know...

Anna:Come on! You'll super sexy in it! You can be a witch or...

Rosa:A Vampire would be perfect with the dress.

Cassandra:I'll think about it.

Rosa:Hey!

They both looked at her as she held up a black masquerade mask.

Rosa:This will go great with the dress!

Anna:Your on to something there Rosa.

Anna turned to the shop keeper.

Anna:Excuse me.

The elderly gentleman:Yes?

Anna:Is it ok if my Friend here tries out this costume?

The elderly gentleman:Of course, follow me.

Anna shoves the dress and mask into Cassandra's hands and pushed her over to the curtain dressing room. Cassandra removed her clothes and put on the dress and mask.

Anna:You got it on?

Cassandra:Yes...

Anna:Well get your butt out here so we can see!

Cassandra:I can't... it's to embarrassing...

Anna rolled here eyes as she approached the curtain and yanked it open an pulled Cassandra out.

Anna:Wow, you look... Holy crap...

Rosa:You look pretty.

Cassandra:I don't know... I think it's a little to revealing...

Rosa:You can just cover up a little.

Anna:Besides... It looks great on you.

Rosa:And the mask looks great on you too.

Cassandra turned around and looked at herself in a full body length mirror. She couldn't even recognize herself.

Cassandra:Ok... Can I take the mask too?

Anna:Alright!

They purchased the dresses and headed out. They decided to look around for accessories and Rosa found a purple mask perfect for Anna. They bought a lot for just Halloween costumes. They took a break and sat in the food court for lunch.

Anna:Man I'm tired...

Cassandra:We sure did buy a lot.

Anna:And all these bags are just for Halloween!

Rosa:Let's take it easy.

Anna:Ok, let's go into one more shop before we head home.

Cassandra:You guys go ahead. I'll wait here.

Rosa:You sure?

Cassandra:Yah, I tired.

Anna:Ok, be back in a few.

Both Anna and Rosa got up and left the food court. Cassandra sighed as she placed her head down and relaxed. After a minute she heard someone sit down next to her. She looked up and stared into green eyes. Cassandra pulled away and found herself staring up at an older guy. He was handsome, he had short blond hair and green eyes.

Cassandra:Can I help you?

The guy smiled and said:

Sorry, I just saw you come in the food court and wanted to say hello.

Cassandra:Oh... Well... hello

The guy:My name is Andrew, and you are..?

Cassandra:Cassandra...

Andrew:Well nice to meet you Cassandra.

Cassandra felt slightly uncomfortable. She looked away and said:

Could you please... Not stare...

Andrew:Oh, please forgive me... I didn't mean to cause discomfort.

Cassandra looked at him and smiled.

Cassandra:It's ok I guess I should be used to it.

Andrew:Your quite beautiful...

Cassandra blushed and said:Uh... Thank you...

Suddenly Andrew leaned in and whispered into her ear: Leave him... And be mine...

Cassandra gasped and pulled away.

Cassandra:W-What..?

Andrew stared then he reached out and took a lock of her hair into his hand. Cassandra stared as he kissed it. She pulled her hair away and got up quickly, her chair making loud noise catching the attention of some of the other residence in the food court. Cassandra stared at Andrew got up, placed a piece of folded paper on the table and walked away. Cassandra stood still until he was out of sight, she looked down at the paper he left and picked it up. She gasped. It ready:

I'll be seeing you, my dear.

It was the same handwriting as the one she had found in her locker. She was scared now.
