Chapter 32:

Zane:Cassandra... Cassandra... Please wake up... Cassandra... Cassandra!!

He picked up his sister and held her close as he began to cry. James looked at Andrew, who survived the gold bullet and was getting bandaged up and he began to walk over.

James:Why?

Andrew:What?

James:Why did you try to protect her when you wanted her to be your mate?

Andrew looked away and said:Because... I realized that she already loved someone else.. And that there was no reason in trying to change her mind... So I decided to let her leave...

James:But your brother didn't...

Andrew:I know what I did now was wrong... I'm sorry... If I could go back I'd stop myself from doing everything I did...

Zane:Cassandra... Please...

Andrew stood up and began to walk over to them.

Andrew:I'm sorry, if you want... You can kill me...

Zane:Killing you isn't gonna bring my sister back!!

Darien stood farther away. He could bare to look at Cassandra. His eyes were filled with tears of sympathy.

Darien thought:This can't happen... Cassandra....

He looked over as Zane buried his face in Cassandra's neck as he cried. Cassandra had her eyes closed and her head was slumped over. He looked away as tears fell from his eyes.

In Cassandra's mind...

Cassandra was slowly floating in complete darkness. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around.

Cassandra:Did... I died?

A voice:Not yet..

Cassandra gasped as she looked around. She recognized that voice. Suddenly she felt warm arms wrap around her. She looked and teared up. It was her dad. His black hair and blue eyes were the same as she had remembered them when she was a little girl. She turned her body around and hugged her dad.

Cassandra:Dad!!

Her dad hugged her close as he stroked her head and Cassandra cried against his shoulder. After a minute, Cassandra looked at her dad.

Cassandra:Dad... (sniff)... It's really you...

Her dad:It's really me snuggle bun.

Cassandra giggled as he used her nickname.

Cassandra:Where are we?

Her dad:I'm actually up in heaven, but... Your still alive... You'r stuck between life and death..

Cassandra:So your saying I'm unconscious?

Her dad:Something like that...

With the others...

Darien looked back at Cassandra and an idea came to him. He didn't want to do it but he also didn't want to lose Cassandra. Darien though:God, Why did it have to come to this?

Darien:I know a way to save her...

Zane looked up at him and then quickly gripped his shoulders desperately.

Zane:What!? What is it!!?

Darien:If this works... She'll come back...

Anna:Then what are we waiting for! Do it!!

Darien:You don't understand! If I do it... Cassandra will never be the same again.

James:Wait... You don't mean...
