"Yes, Milly. I give up. What's today's subject of conversation?"

"And yeah, that is a nice new couch." She added.

"Nash Bird," I said. She spat out the tea she didn't swallow.
"Ooooo!!!" Athena teased wiping her mouth.
"Taking interest? Need advice? Ooh man, you came to the right gal!" She rambled.

"Sorry, Athena, but no. I don't like Nash. But I think he may like me...?" I responded. She almost choked on her Ritz cracker and quickly swallowed it down with some iced tea.
"Wow, Athena! I think your gonna die today at this rate!" I started giggling, and Athena joined me.

She stopped laughing and became serious. "How can you tell?" Athena asked.
"For one thing, he won't leave me alone! I took my dinner out yesterday and sat on the curb to eat, but I saw a pair of binoculars poking through the bushes across the street!" I heard a gasp from outside. I thought for a moment. Then I had an epiphany.

"Did he touch you before you entered??? Like a high five, hug, poke...?" I questioned. I heard fast footsteps fading from outside.

Athena looked at me weirdly. "Why? Di-" she stopped. "THAT FILTHY RAT!" She inspected her stomach area on her shirt and sure enough found a voice recorder. She held it up to her mouth and signaled for me to cover my ears, so I did. "YOU FILTHY MAGGOT WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?! IM GONNA KILL YOU!! I WILL REPLACE YOUR MATTRESS SPRING BOX WITH SPIKES UNLESS YOU COME IN HERE AND CONFESS TO SPYING ON US!!!"

I heard speeding footsteps grow louder and louder, then stopped, immediately followed by pounding on our door.
"I love our tree house!" I said as I cleaned up anything he shouldn't see.
