All I could think about was that picture and the emojis. After a while I put my headphones in to think about something else. A new song came on, I had never heard it before.
"How did this get on my playlist?" I thought to myself. When I looked down to see what it was, it didn't have a title, or artist. The song had no lyrics or so I thought.
"Kill him, Jake." It was so quiet as if it was a whisper. I thought I was hearing things but it sounded so clear yet so unclear. It was powerful even for a whisper. I wanted to obey, but rebel. I decided to just turn off my music and walk home listening to the sounds of passing cars.
