Sister Christian

Oh the time has come

...

You know those boys

Don't want to play no more with you

It's true - Sister Christian by Night Ranger

------

Castiel sits in the front pew looking at his father. He makes eye contact with him and then looks at the other churchgoers. Castiel can feel his right eye throbbing from the night before. He can still smell the blood on his fathers fists, the darkness in his eyes.

"Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess," his dads booming voice rushes over their heads, "Deuteronomy 5:33, as long as you follow God's rules, you shall live a long and happy life."

Castiel's dad looks right into his eyes.

His father is a good man. He makes sure he follow the rules and doesn't get in trouble, that why he hits Castiel. The black eye was for looking at a guy. Castiel not gay. Being a homosexual is a sin, he was just looking at a guy (maybe for too long).

His father closes the service and Castiel goes to the back to say goodbye to people.

"Hun, what happened to your eye?" Ms. Rushton asks Castiel with a fake smile. "Just a baseball injury, no bother." She walks away as Father Novak walks up.

"Don't lie to people, you know lying is a sin."

"Im sorry, father." He pats Castiel on the back and continues to say bye to the churchgoers. Castiel decides to go outside to get some fresh air. As he walks outside, he see a tall figure in the cemetery.

Its not unusual for someone to be in the graveyard on a Sunday morning, but Castiel has never seen this figure before. He looks around before he walks towards the shadow. He enters the gate and the man starts to walk away.

Castiel waits behind a tall gravestone and wait for the man to be out of site. Once the figure is gone, he walked towards the gravestone the man was at.

As Castiel reads the name, he figures out who the ma- boy was.

It was Dean Winchester and the gravestone read "Mary Winchester".
