First Night

I knocked on Prim's front door, I heard prim shout something at Eileen, and then I heard a loud slap and then some silence. Prim opened the door with her hair covering her face

"You okay?" I ask

"Yeah... Let's go"she sniffs, walking down her front garden, I race after her. We're at Oakside park now, we've built the tents in the park itself, in the centre of the forest, and just lying down. "Do you want to swing on the swings?" Prim asks

"Nah, they look really rusty"

"Okay... It's getting dark. Do you want a packet of crisps, or some sandwiches, I made some"

"Can I have a packet of crisps please?"

"Uh huh" Prim chucks over a packet of ready salted crisps, I gobble them up within a couple of minutes, it's night now, pitch black, with bright stars, dotted all over the place.

"Ha, look, full moon, werewolves will be Alex's great fear next!" I giggle

"Jess, I've got to tell you something, something important"

"What? Oh, you're moving, aren't you? I knew this day would come"

" no, not rea-AGH!" She screams loudly and points at the forest " S-something's there" she whispers, staring into the deep, dark, forest, I get up and pull my flashlight from my bag,hanging off an old pole, Prim grabs me

"Don't leave me! I mean,what if...a DEER attacks me?" She says,worryingly, I just chuckle

"a deer? attack you? That's absurd, Prim"

" It could happen, you don't know what could happen if you leave me here"

"Then come with me"

"Ugh, fine. But you go ahead"she says, getting her flashlight out, I walk into the forest,while Prim is behind me, biting her fingernails. I come across to a part with no trees,except for a big tree in the center, with no leaves on.

"Look! What's that?" Prim asks, shaking, she starts to breath heavily wheni get closer to it, it was an old looking piece of paper stuck onto the big tree, on it, was one word, just one, that sent shivers down my spine, 'run' was scribbled onto it. I started to shake violently "what's the matter, Jess?" Prim asks, starting to come nearer, she sees the piece of paper and drops her flashlight " whu-what's tha-that?" She swallows, be ending down to pick up the flashlight, when there's this loud rustle coming from right being us,I turn round and see a deer! I start laughing, and Prim shrieks

"What's wrong?" I ask, putting my hand on her shaky shoulder

"No! Nooo! There, can't you see it?"She screams, pointing at the bush

es, I turn, but I see nothing but trees, fading into the darkness. We head back, with me trying to talk to Prim

" y'know, that deer was frightening, so we both got quite scared."

" No, you were brave, I'm just a coward."

" No, no you aren't, it was someone just messing around with us, sticking up the page"

" Jessie, I did see something, not a deer, but it looked like a person." Prim says grimly "it looked like him",she looks around her, suddenly grabbing hold of my arm "Jess, this is really freaking me out, tomorrow can we just go home, have a sleepover, have a marathon of films"

"fine. But for the sake of my sanity, PLEASE can we tell Alex we just saw a deer" I say, seeing our tents "fine. But can I just...... Jess, look over there " Prim whispers, looking really scared, and looking straight behind our tents, pointing just behind a tree. Pointing at it. Pointing at him.
