Chapter four- Eyes in the shadows

~Larota's P.o.v~

The light hit my eyes. Shit! It's already morning? I could swear that I lay a few hours! Must be tired, that's all...

"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty! How to spend the night?" April asked after pulling the curtains. Damn, I wanted to sleep more.

"Better than the chain." I replied as I lay me again. April smiled and shook his head.

"The day is amazing! You should take advantage of it. By the way, get up to make breakfast." She said throwing a pillow on my face.

I frowned and she left the room.
April is cool, a bit boring, but cool.

I took a small bag from the floor and walked to the bathroom.
I made my needs and opened the bag.
I picked up a bottle and took some pills.

Crap anti-depressants...
They do not help at all even...
I do not need them...
Or will I need?...
Nah, I do not need ..

I swallowed the pills with a bit of tap water and threw the bottle away from me. I have medicine hatred.

After a relaxing bath, I changed clothes and tried to adjust my hair properly. He's a mess, but I accept the challenge of trying to fix it.

'Ready.' I thought after playing brush on the bed and down the stairs.

April and Casey were not in the kitchen but my breakfast was on the table. Pancakes and orange juice. Perfect!

Man, as I was hungry! I was worse than a pregnant woman making a wish.

"Lara! Glad you're here. Casey and I need to tell you something." April said walking closer to me.

I looked at her in confusion. I hope it is not more problems.

Casey walked to both of us in the kitchen. He was with a suitcase in hand and a backpack.

"Well... Lara... April and I are taking a trip today... You know... We're doing will work." Casey said crestfallen.
I do not believe! Because they did not tell me before? They left to the last minute. They are like my mother! I hate to be the last to know of things.

"What?" I screamed. It can not be...
I'll have to go? Or worse... I'll have to go with them?

"Sorry I did not tell you before... We decided to go last minute. But we know that you'll be fine. It's only three months." April said in a sad tone. She thinks this is little ?! >.<

"I hope you do not mind being alone here. By the way I have to run, I need to see a friend before leaving." Casey said running for the door.

"You'll be fine?" April asked worriedly.

"Yeah. I have no choice at all." I replied with a slight smile. Damn, I was angry! April smiled and hugged me, I hugged him back without even knowing the embrace of reason.

It should not be so bad to stay here alone... I'll have the whole apartment just for me. (Making malice face( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )

~Casey P.o.v~

After finishing to put the bags in the car, I ran as fast as possible between the alleys.

I removed the manhole cover and into the sewer. So long and still not got used to the smell.

I pulled a lever revealing all the lair. I saw Leo, Donnie and Mikey sitting around the TV, but not one Raph signal.

"Hey guys, you saw Raph?" I asked.

"But of course bro! It is a green face, wears a red mask, strong and displayed! We see it every day, man!" Mikey naively said.

"Do not listen to Mikey. Raph's in the garage I think." Leo replied returning his eyes to the tv.
