A/N:
Oh gosh, i am sorry for not updating for so long! i just want to set some thing: I realise i have made alot of mistakes in the first few chapters, Like, Jace calling Grace Millie, im sorry about that, it was a simple mistake, ive always had alot of comments about how in the first chapter Grace walks to school, but then ends up driving home, ill change that, im doing some editing soon, so just, enjoy this chapter! :)
Chapter 12:
Graces POV.
I buried my face into my pillow and squeezed my eyes shut replying all the events of the past few days. Jace and i had become...im not sure if i could say friends, or if we had just began to stop 'hating eachother' either way, i liked this Jace alot more then the one who bullied me.
I shot up at the sound of my phone vibrating on the bedside table, i picked up and read the text, it was sent by an unknown Number;
'Its Jace, Hi ;)'
I frowned, i didn't remember giving him my number.. Unless.. Millie.
After a long internal debate i decided to reply with something small.
'Hi.'
Ok, i know that was possibly the worst reply ever, but what else am i supposed to say? i didn't want to say anything that would make him hate me again..or anything that would put h im of off me.
It had been 23 minutes and he still hadn't replied, i wasn't quite sure why but i felt a pang of sadness at this, and my heart clenched a little, but i let it go and decided to go check out my window, Maybe that wolf... - Which had came quite often recently- would be there.
I sat down on my window ledge and glanced up at the twilight sky, it was beautiful, the sun was pretty much set and the moon was just visible high in the dark sky, lit up by a few sparkling stars.
Like Jaces eyes..
I shook my head and glanced down at the forest and just as my eyes met the edge of the forest the beautiful wolf scurried out, and then slowed down to a stroll, stopping on the damp grass outside my house before laying down, rsting his chin against the ground.
I slid the window open slowly, trying to be quite, but off course it made it 10 times louder..
''Hey.'' I whispered out in the cold air, The wolfs ears shot up and like i had seen many times before, his mouth tugged up almost as if he was smiling.
I maybe slightly crazy, but i knew what i was seeing, this wolf understood everything i said, he ackknowledged the words that left my mouth, and he showed my he understood, wether it was a small nod, or a smile, i knew he understood me.
This was no average wolf.
-------------------------------------
Jaces POV.
I walked down the stairs, a huge smile plastered on my face, Grace and i were finally on good levels. I never hated her, i never even disliked her, i just didnt...want to know her.
I have my reason. But im not ready to even talk to myself about them yet.
I picked my phone up from the sofa and smiled as i read the short text from Grace, although it only said 'Hi' it still made me smile, and sent my heart into a little marathon of its own.
''Mum!'' I shouted into the kitchen.
''Yes, hun?''
''Im going out.''
''Its 10pm, will you be okay?''
I rolled my eyes and replied with ''Ill be fine.''
I grabbed my phone and ran out the front door, slamming it shut behind me before jogging down the road, i quickly wrote a text to Grace telling her i was on my way, im not sure if she'd know what i meant, but she would when i turned up knocking on her door.
After about 5 minutes of sprinting i was stood outside Grace's front door..I wasnt sure wether to run around the back of her house and throw rocks at her window, go for the simple Romeo and juliet, or just knock on the door.
I decided throwing rocks at the window was too much, so i just knocked the door and waited for this beautiful girl to answer.
