11. Destiny? More like Destini

-I hope I didn't epically fail with this title-

Once the final bell rung the Kaoru dashed off to the club room to make a new shopping list for the things they have left to get. Meanwhile Ghost dashed off to the 3rd library to invite the first person on their list to join their club!

Character Introduction:
Destini Misaki
Age: 17
Height: 5'1"
Hair color: Amethyst
Eye color: Amethyst
Class: 3A
Clothing style: random, she has a wide taste in clothing but her school outfit is a white and purple top,black skirt,black with white dog prints thigh high socks, combat boots
Weird traits: likes being carried around, can sleep anywhere,enjoys hanging out on roofs
Hobby's: Ju Jitsu, boxing, piano,studying
Personality: quiet,smart,caring,sweet
Character intro: When Destini was born a gang attacked the hospital she was in, she was born with a heart condition where it would seem like her heart stopped but it just slowed down to a point you can't hear or feel it and it would last for about 5 minutes. Well 5 minutes after she was born her mother was holding her and that's when they heard the shooting, she quickly shielded Destini when she got shot, when this was happening Destinis heart was slowing down.
Everyone on that floor was dead except a woman who was about to be shot, she always came to the delivery section to look at the baby's. She had lost her baby a year ago as he was being born, the birthing process almost took her own life too. Meanwhile her husband who was one green light before the hospital, from seeing his wife and newborn child, got hit by a drunk driver. Since then she would visit once a month.
She closed her eyes waiting for death, maybe she'd finally get to see her husband and child. Suddenly a baby's cry came out of nowhere, the shooters looked around confused, the woman heart stopped, she had to protect that baby and she saw her chance. Grabbing a metal rod from a iv stand she hit both men in the head and was barely able to hit the 3rd man's gun out of his hand and then hit him in the head. She ran to the room and her breath caught at the sight of a dead man and woman both protecting something,....someone. She quickly grabbed the baby and ran to the window. They were on the 2nd floor and there was a roof to a section 3 feet below the window, she jumped on the roof and ran as fast as she could before grabbing a poll on the side of that building and shimmying down it to the ground before running like hell to the cops outside.
That same woman ended up adopting the baby and naming her Destini.Destini grew up being a quiet girl that was interested in Ju Jitsu and boxing, when she turned 8 her adoptive mother started dating a man who owned a great amount of dojo's and he ended up teaching her a lot and soon introduced her to competitions. By age 10 she was 2nd champion in Ju Jitsu and #1 in Boxing, also her mother and her boyfriend got married. By age 12 she was going to be a big sister to a little boy and by age 14 she was going to have a little sister too. She never found interest in any of her class mates so she focused on studying rather than socializing.
Position in club: Miss Knoledgable- helps people with course work or studying, gives tips, helps with collage deciding.
(Destini's P.O.V.)
I sigh as I sit down in my normal seat by the back corner of the 3rd Library, I find it to be the quietest out of the 3. I look out the window next to me and see students laughing and socializing. I sigh, 'I can't believe I'm 17 and still have no friends or social life. I mean I know I chose to focus more on school than gaining friends but I'm still human. I still crave social interaction, long to be able to hug a friend or get a piggy back ride. Wow that sounded childish but I can't help it, I love piggy back rides but my father never gives me ones anymore. He's always so focused on Miricle my baby sister, I know she's only 3 and needs a lot of attention but that doesn't mean you ignore your child just because she's a teenager now. He shouldn't assume I want to be left alone, that I don't want to do father daughter dates anymore,that I don't want piggy back rides anymore.'. I sigh again as I look down at my book.
'I miss how close me and mom used to be, ever since she got married she slowly started slipping away. Once Jun was born she completely slipped away, always focusing on Jun. she even gives Miricle more attention in a day than she gives me within 5 months. Ugh I sound so whiny and bratty, it's probably because I only got 2 hours asleep last night after my break down.' I was so lost in thought I didn't even realize a girl had sat down in front of me. I jumped in my seat once I realized she was there. 'That's never happened to me before, I need to make sure to go to bed once I get home, I need to make sure my senses are sharp.' I thought before paying attention to the girl.
"I'm s-sorr-ry I didn't me-ean to scar-e you" the girl stuttered. I gave the girl a soft smile to calm her nerves, "It's alright I'm just tired and out of it today" I replied politely wondering why the sudden interest in me. I now recognized her from my class, she usually sits with Hunny and Mori. She smiled shyly "My nam-es  G-Ghost, I-I'm in your c-c-class". "I know, oh I'm Destini by the way"  I smiled still curios on why she's talking to me, I know I was just complaining and wishing I had friends but I wanna make sure this isn't some cruel joke like the other times people have come up to talk to me. "I-I was wond-dering if you w-would like to-o join my club" she asked me with hopeful eyes. "What kind of club?" I asked hesitantly. 'I really hope this isn't some kind of joke, I mean who would want me in their club?' I thought before staring in shock at the girl in front of me. He eyes lit up at my question and she suddenly took on a whole new demeanor. "A Helpful Hand Club! Where we help anyone with school work,club work,learning new things, and help in their private lives if they seek it!" She stated happily with a thousand dollar smile. That's when I realized 'she's not playing any jokes on me, she's genuinely wanting me to join her club'. "I'd like you to join and be our class work and studying advisor, it would just be like a study group" she smiled "oh and there'd be snacks!" I laughed at her excitement about snacks.
Then I started to think, do I want to join? I'd still get all my studying done and I'd get to feel good helping others with things there struggling with. I looked at Ghost who was smiling looking out the window. She noticed me looking at her and smiled at me, 'maybe,just maybe...' "I'll join" I smiled at her. She jumped out of her seat doing a happy dance before grabbing me and dragging me out of the library. I was able to grab my bag and book before being pulled away, luckily. "Oh I'm so happy! We have so much to do!!" She cheered coming up to the abandoned art room. "KAOKAO MEET OUR OFFICIAL 3RD MEMBER!!" She yelled tackling a boy with orange hair outside the art rooms doors. I giggled behind me hand while to boy groaned and scolded Ghost about knocking people over on marble floors. "I'm sorry KaoKao I was just so excited" she pouted while the boy got up from the ground. I finally recognized him as one of the Hitachiin's and guessing by the nick name its Kaoru. He seemed to finally notice me, I smiled at him and waved. He smiled at me with a hint of red on his cheeks, I giggled at him while he seemed to get reder realizing I noticed his blush. Ghost finally got up off the floor and smiled at the two. "Dezzy are you ready to see the club room!" Ghost bounced up and down in excitement as I looked at her surprised. 'No ones ever given me a nick name before' I thought as Ghost grabbed one handle to the door as Kaoru grabbed the other. "Welcome to A Helpful Hand Club" Ghost and Kaoru said together as they simultaneously opened the doors together. 'Maybe,just maybe I could finally have friends...or even a family again' I thought as I stepped into the room with a smile on my face. "I think I'm gonna like it here" I whispered as Ghost and Kaoru held bright smiles both thinking simultaneously 'Welcome to the family Destini'.

Yay Destini's finally been introduced!!! I hope you like her! I ship her and Kaoru, what about you? What should the ship name be?!
Also sorry this didn't get posted last night, I fell asleep watching a movie 😫
