(A/N: Okayz. I'm bored, so you get a new chapter. I don't know how good this will be, but I hope you enjoy it. PS: the pic is from my cousin's snapchat. I love MeowMeow very much. Cats are a woman's best friend.)
Dray's POV
After twenty minutes of boredom, listening to the distant giggles from Leo, and the screams from Harry when Leo did something to her, they finally came out. The only reason I knew they'd come out was the naked, blonde boy toddling into my room, Harry chasing after him.
"Leo~. Come back here so I can dress you, silly!" Leo walked to my closet as fast as he could and hid behind my painting leaning on the wall. Not more than a second after he was safely hidden did Harry run into the room, bubbles on her head, shirt soaked and face red.
"Is Leo in here? I can't find him." She looked at me, pleading with her eyes for me to know where he is. I glanced over to the painting and realized he wasn't watching me, so I looked back to her and nodded my head towards the closet.
"I'm really sorry, Harry. I haven't seen Leo AT ALL since you guys went to the bathroom to wash up. I'm sooo sorry." I said this as I lead her to the closet.
"Dang. I guess he won't get a bedtime story, seeing as he has mysteriously vanished. And I was going to let him pick the story.(We heard Leo gasp at that.) Oh well. I guess I'll just have to read the story to myself." At that, Leo ran from behind the painting and hugged Harry's leg.
"Can I weally pick de stowy?" He smiled brightly at her.
"Oh, I don't know. You were being a bad boy, running off before I could get you in pajamas. I think I might just read Dray a story instead. What do you think, Draco?" She turned to me, a smirk plastered on her face and a sparkle in her eyes.
"That sounds really fun, Harry, but I think I should finish my Calculus homework. Leo can have my turn tonight." She giggled and turned back to Leo, crouching down to his size.
"How 'bout this. You let me get you into your pajamas, then you can pick whatever story you want me to read. Does that sound fair?" Leo smiled and nodded, then toddled back to the bathroom.
"Well, I should probably go back in there before he changes his mind again and runs off. Thanks, Dray." She smiled at me, and not just one of those plain, old smiles that everyone gives you, but a genuine, beautiful smile. She turned and walked out of my room, leaving me there in my mind palace, alone to think over everything that had happened today. Well. I guess Mother was right to ground me. If she hadn't, I probably would have hidden in my room with Pansy and Blaise, skeeming over how to get revenge on the Weasel and his girlfriemd, Granger. This is better than that would have been. I sat on my bed, finishing my Calculus, English and French homework. Then, when I was done with those I lay there with my eyes closed, not realizing I'd fallen asleep until I heard a knock on the door.
"Hey. Can I hang out in here with you. Your parents aren't supposed to be here for another hour or two, and I don't know what to do while I wait."
"Yeah. Sure. I finished my homework a while ago." She smiled and walked in. That's when I noticed that her shirt was still soaked.
"Here you can use one of my shirts so you don't have to wear that soaked one anymore." She blushed and smiled, taking the green shirt.
"Thank you." She walked out to the bathroom, and five minutes later came back in, holding a book bag in one hand, the soaked shirt in the other.
"What's in the 'Mystery Bag'?" I raised an eyebrow, smiling when she giggled at the name I'd given her bag.
"It's got some books, my laptop, phone charger and other miscellaneous crap in it." She smirked. "Why do you ask?"
"Just wondering if you were secretly a hired assassin here to kill me, or if you were really that much of a nerd." I was the one to smirk this time, and seeing her pout at being called a nerd made my smirk change into a ridiculous, lopsy smile.
"Awwwwe. You're so cute when you pout. Did I make poor, little Harebear upset?" She glared at me when I called her that, but we both ended up laughing.
"So, why did you bring your laptop, of all things?"
"Well, you see. I'm addicted to this show called Doctor Who, and I'm on the tenth doctor right now, who actually reminds me of my godfather a bit. Sassy, but classy. I was going to watch up to the eleventh doctor, but I kinda wanna start over. You wanna watch it with me?" She pulled out her laptop and a pair of headphones, then looked at me expectantly.
"Sure. Why not. It's not like I have a life anyways. Who knows. Maybe I'll become obsessed with it like you." She laughed as she pulled up her downloaded videos and scrolled to the beginning, then handed me a headphone.
"Actually, before I put that in, I'm going to turn off the light. I love watching things in the dark." I got up from the bed and walked to the doorway, shut the door, turned off the light, and turned back around to find Harry already comfortable under the duvet, one headphone in, waiting for me to come back so she could watch her show. As I climbed back in, we had to readjust so we were both comfortable, which ended with her sitting a little on me, my arm around her waist and her head leaning on my collarbone.
"Ready?" She turned her face to me and smiled.
"Always." She giggled at this and muttered something about 'cheeky little ferret's under her breath, then pressed play.Narcissa POV (this one will also be rare)
When Lucius and I got home, we set our coats on the hanger and went upstairs to check on the children. Leo was asleep, tucked in, and a content smile on his face. When I got to Draco's door, it was shut, which was odd, seeing as he only ever closed it when he had Pansy and Blaise over, but that wasn't the case, seeing as I had the luxury of taking Draco's phone before I left, and I knew for a fact that he didn't know their actual numbers. What I didn't expect to see when I walked into his room, being sure to be silent, was Harriet and Draco snuggled together, an open laptop on Harriet's lap. It was cute that they'd become so close during the six hours we were gone, but also weird that Draco had spent time with someone other than Pansy and Blaise. Oh well. Can't change whatever happened while we were gone. Maybe they'll end up together. I can imagine the grandchildren now. Lucius walked in and watched them from behind me.
"Well, I guess she feels welcome now. Who knew she'd actually get along with Draco and his depressing personality."
"Oh, shush, Lucius. We barely know the girl, yet it looks like they've been friends for ages. Maybe she'll change him for the better."
"Or maybe for the worse, yet I doubt that. She is such a sweet, young lady. I don't see anything bad going wrong with her around." He looked down at me, his eyes sparkling with joy that his son might actually be happy.
"Let's leave them to rest. Heaven knows when they fell asleep, so they'll probably sleep in tomorrow."
"Yes. I feel it's time we put ourselves to bed, too." We walked out of the room, shutting the door lightly enough not to wake them up. As we went to bed, I felt as if our lives were finally going to change, and that a black haired, green eyed girl was the reason for it.
