Chapter 12:Loss

You gently kiss Armin's forehead and walk towards the door,just before you leave into the corridor you look back at Armin for a second,and smile.When you leave the reception and exit the hospital you can't but help to not go back inside,(I have to go back,what if he dies in his sleep,no,I'm jumping to conclusion,I'll check back on him tomorrow.)

When you finally reach your house you open the door,walk up the stairs and lock your bedroom door.You fall face first onto your bed and just couldn't stop thinking of him,hoping that the worst wouldn't happen to him.

You then cry yourself to sleep that night,thinking that the crash was nothing but your fault,and pray that you'll be able to see him again.The next morning you completely blow of school and run over to the hospital,(I hope he's alright)."Can I help you"the receptionist asks you again,"Can I see patient Armin Arlert in room 87 please","Alright miss".You run up the corridors until you reach Armin's room.You take a deep breath and open the door to see Armin eating his breakfast,"Oh hey Y/N","Hey Armin,how are you feeling","My head still hurts s bit,but besides that I'm ok","I'm glad Armin"you stand next to him and place your hand on his,"I-I thought the worst might have happened to you".He puts your fringe behind your ear"Hey,it's ok,I'm fine Y/N,really I am","Ok,I trust you"you then give Armin this bracelet that was on your wrist,"Here,I want you to have this","W-What it is","It's a bracelet that my father gave to me before he died,It's the only thing I have left of him"a tear then drops from your eye and onto you wrist,Armin then hugs you gently,"I-I'm sorry about your dad Y/N",he then releases the hug and holds both your hands,"I know what it's like to loose a family member,I-I lost my parents when I was 9,since then I've been living with my grandfather,that's why you haven't met my parents before",His eyes begin to get glassy and his head drops down with his fringe over his eyes,"Armin,I-I had no idea-","It's fine,I just,get a bit down sometimes whenever I think about it","I'm just glad that I met you Armin,if I hadn't met you,then I would just be a lonely girl with no one to make me happy","I-I make you happy","Of course you do,d-do I make you happy","More than anything Y/N,and once my wounds have healed,I'll have a happy,loveable life with you,I promise"...
