Sam thought the funeral was great. The music was fine and even the speech was great. Sam even got to have a little fun. He went up to some old friends of his aunt and pat them on the shoulder and repeated what they said to him at a wedding. "You're next". But the only thing disturbing was his aunt. She was so fat that her stomach was hanging over the size of the coffin. All the kids were poking it and they said it smelled like cheese. He went to go ask someone about the size of the coffin and they said: " I'm sorry son but that's the largest size there was." Sam gaged at the thought of the smallest one with her in it.
When they went to the cemetery to lay her in the ground they had to get something big for the to push the fat parts in. It started to rain so it made it easy for the fat to slide in.
After the funeral, Sam started home. He felt a bit sad. He wondered "who will look after me now. it's not like I know where the money is kept. How long will I survive"
He turned the corner and there was a kid on the sidewalk crying. Sam went over to him
"Hey man whats up"
"I lost my mom I can't find her."
"Oh, that's not good. How 'bout I take you home and we get a hot chocolate on the back. You know where you live right."
"Thanks, that would be great and I know where I live."
"cool," Sam said let's go then"
Sam and the little boy walked off
"So what's your name" Sam asked
"My name is Jack."
"Jack huh that's a good name"
Sam and Jack had walked for 5 minutes got a hot chocolate and they got to Jacks house. They finished their drink and when jack was about to get the spare key there was a gruff voice that said.
"Patterson"
