Chapter IX - THE ARRIVAL

As soon as I step on The podium, I already saw Jason, the official annoucer of the Royal family and the host of the Weekly Report. He slowly walk, maybe giving me time to compose myself for my first ever presscon.

"How are you Lady Mc Cullum?" Jason asked me straight to the eyes

"I'm fine, by the way, you can call me Rich even thou I'm not really rich, I'm poor as any body else here".

The crowd laugh with my answer.

"my, my, my the future Princess and Queen is modest by saying she's poorer than any one here, is that right Rich?

" I'm proud to say yes jason, even thou I was fortunate enough to study in an expensive school, study different classes after school, still I can't consider myself rich, as long as many of my fellow Asian are below poverty line, many died from hunger, many children didn't have time to go to school because they need to work for their family. If that change, That's the only time that I can say that I'm rich."

The entired crowd applause from my statement. And many are now crying just from the words that came out of my mouth, but what I'm saying was the reality out there.

"Very well said Lady Mc Cullum, I mean Rich, but going back to wat you've said, personaly I am intrigue with the lessons that you took, even thou you said that your family is not rich, but I believe they are not poor aswell, am I right?"

"Yes you are right." I said.

"You also mention after school class, how many classes do you normally attend in a day, in a week, in a month time?"

"In a day, maybe 2 to 3, sometimes 4, in a week maybe around 15, in a month around 40 or more i guese, not totally sure, I'm sorry."

"No need to appologize Rich, but.. But 40 or more, that's more than the avarage, a princess class are normally 20 to 30 classes a month, but yours are morethan 40?

"I'm afraid that's correct jason."

"If you dont mind me asking Rich, can you give me some example of classes that you are takin at the moment."

"Right now, Language, etiquette, history, management, political sciences just to name a few".

"Are you really a gir? A 17 years old soon to be a princess? Or your faking it all... Maybe you are an unknown royalty hidding here in our country."

"I believe this is me jason."

"About the language, how many language do you know?"

"A lot, almost all the major languages, hmmm.. French, Spanish, English, Japaneese, Filipino, Portugese, Chinese and a lot more."

"You said Filipino right? Why? That's the main language here in the capital."

"Maybe I forgot to put it in my forms, even thou I didn't know who my father is, what I know is his family is from here."

"Ah, that make sense, so you mean your father's ancestor is Filipino?"

"Yes, but that is the only thing I know about him."

"That's ok, but let's go back to you, what's your plan now that your already here, what can we expect to the future Princess if Asia?"

"Personally, I don't want any of you to expect anything from me, I don't wanna fail your expectations and I just wanna have fun while I'm here." I said without saying that all of this is not What I want.

"So Asia, that's all for now, what do you think of Lady Rich Faith?, lets just wait and see,... Later on the daily report, another interview from the Royal family and from lady Rich... Good bye as of now, God bless Asia, god bless the future princess."

With that note the presscon ended and me and my guards goes to the palace. While on the way to the palace, smith introduce me to a young girl, "Lady Rich, this is Lisa, she's going to be your personal attendant."

"Hi Lisa, I'm Rich, just Rich ok," I said looking at her.

"As you wish Mi... Sorry, as you wish Rich." Lisa said and she continue, "Rich, today is going to be a busy day for you, you've done the arrival presscon, but there's another when reach the palace, but before that you'll going to meet the Royal family and Prince xander."

"Ok." But deep inside, I wanna scream and shout "I WANNAAAAA GOOOO HOOOMEEEEE!!!" but I know I can't.
