It Was Our Destiny

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and sunlight shining through my window. I pulled my covers off of me and slowly got up.

I walked downstairs to find a plate of eggs, bacon, waffles and slices of watermelon. My mother knows me so well. My smile slowly wiped off of my face as I realized that something was missing.

When my mom comes home and makes me breakfast she usually leaves a little letter beside it. But there was no letter. "Well maybe she was in a hurry", I said to myself. I shook the thought off quickly as my phone rung.

I walked over to it to see that my boss was calling. I pressed talk and put the phone on speaker as I walked over to get my plate. "Hello, Alexandria." my boss said. "Hello Mrs. Walker, what can I help you with?" I asked walking over the couch.

"Well I was calling to inform you that I need you to come in today." I sighed deeply. Today was supposed to be my last day of relaxation before having to return to that hell hole tomorrow. "Sure Mrs. Walker, that'll be fine." I said.

"Great! Be here in about a hour and a half." she said. "Sure. I'll be there." I said before she hung up. I turned on the TV to find that my favorite show SpongeBob was on. After finishing my breakfast I walked upstairs to get ready for work.

I ran the hot water and turned Pandora on from my phone. When I stepped in the shower one of my favorite songs came on by Jagged Edge. I sung softly as the song played. After about 3 songs I turned the water off and grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me.

My outfit for today wasn't going to be hard to pick out considering that it was just a uniform. I picked out my blue uniform shirt with my khaki pants. After putting my uniform on I put my shoes on also.

I grabbed my keys and walked out of the house. I walked to my car as I saw a group of boys walk by. I quickly put my head down in embarrassment. I heard a couple of them say something causing me to look up as they burst into laughter. Except one. He just looked at me with a small smile on his face.

I quickly got in my car and shut the door. I layed my  head back sighing deeply. "Why would you look up you idiot!" I said to myself. After a minute I started the car and drove off to work. When I pulled up to my job I grabbed my stuff and got out the car.

I walked in to see my boss look at me and smile. I returned the smile and I walked to the back and got started.

After being here for an hour I was already miserable. I was standing at the window waiting for the next customer to come up and get their food. I looked over as the next car pulled up. I grabbed the food and drink attempting to hand it to the customer.

I stuck the food out the window to see the same boys that laughed at me just an hour before sitting in the car. I put my head down and handed them their food, and they quickly drove off. Thank god they didn't realize it was me.

After I was done working I went back home to get ready for school the next day. I really didn't have to do anything since I did all of my homework on Friday. So I was just going to lay back and chill for the rest of the day.

The next day I woke up to the sound of my phone. I looked to see that I got an email from the school saying that school was cancelled due to bad weather. Yesterday my boss said I didn't have to come in today either since I came in on an off day. Today was going to be the perfect make up for yesterday.

I turned on the TV to find that SpongeBob was on again. I loved this show. After watching a few episodes I heard my doorbell ring. I paused the TV and walked to the front door. When I opened the door I nearly passed out.

There in front of me was Chresanto Lorenzo Romelo August......shirtless? "H-h-hi." I said stuttering. "Okay stay calm Alexandria." I said to myself. He just sat there smiling at me. "What's wrong with him?" I again said to myself. He slowly began to lean in as....

"Ding! Ding! Ding!" My eyes flew open as I heard the doorbell ring. "Really." I said getting up. "Every thing was okay until.." I said opening the door.

"Mom!" I said gasping. There stood my beautiful mother right in front of me. I mean it's not like she was dead, she was just at work, but if you knew her schedule then you would know that we never see each other. Yet I never understood why she didn't just wake me up for a minute while she came.

She almost fell back as I jumped into her arms. She grabbed onto me tight and held me like we would never see each other again. Little did I know, we wouldn't.......

Sorry for the horrible.... page. This isn't even a chapter. I've just been slaving over every thing, so please bear with me. I promise the next one will be better.
