I Wish (Roc Royal Story)

It was all a dream (pt.2)

I quickly turned around and ran back up the stairs as I saw that two of the men were still there.

I ran into my room and grabbed my bag and quickly but quietly started to stuff my clothes in the bag.

I suddenly realized that I forgot to collect what was in the safe.

I quickly walked back into my moms room and in her closet. I opened the safe to see what was inside and there it was...

A check for 1 million dollars

and a plane ticket to Atlanta, GA. That's where my aunt lives. I quickly grabbed the check and the plane ticket, shut the safe and ran back to my room.

I stuffed the ticket and the check in my bag and zipped it up quietly.

I put on my black Nike jacket and put on my black dirty vans, grabbed my bag and car keys then walked over to my window.

I opened my window ready to climb down the chipped wood ladder. I put one foot out the window getting ready to climb out then I turned around quickly realizing I forgot one of the most important items to me.

It was the necklace my mom gave me for my 16 birthday. I walked over quickly and grabbed it putting it in my pocket, went over to the window and climbed out.

When I got to the bottom I quickly went over to my car which thank god was parked in front of the neighbors house.

I ran to the car and quickly opened the door. "Calm down Alex your gonna make it obvious that you're escaping." I said taking a deep breath.

I got in the drivers sat and threw my giant bag in the back seat. I puts the keys in the ignition and drive away to the airport.

4 hours later...

I've finally arrived in the big A! I'm so excited to be out of Cali. I got out of my seat and collected my bag. As I exited the plane my smile got wider.

Starting fresh... I thought to myself. My stomach started growling signaling that it was time to eat.

I started looking around for any places that sounded good when I saw my aunt walking and looking around.

She must be looking for me I thought to myself. I waved my hand in the air trying to get her and I eventually did.

As soon as she saw me a big smile appeared on her face. "Alex!" she said excites running over to me.

"Hey auntie!" I said hugging her.

"It's been so long!" she said pulling away from the hug and looking at me.

"Yeah it has." I said chuckling.

"Lets go get something to eat. I'm so famished!" she exclaimed.

Her and her intelligent self I thought to myself smiling.

~The next day~

I woke up to the light shining in my eyes. Knock knock

"Come in!"

The door slowly opened as my aunt peeked her head in the door.

"Hey sweetie." she said smiling.

She somewhat reminds me of my mom. They both always call me 'sweetie'

"Hey auntie." I said stretching.

"Well I was thinking about us going somewhere today." she said sitting on my bed. "Sure like where?"

"Well maybe I can start by taking u to breakfast then we can head to the Aquarium."

"Sure, that's sounds fun." I said smiling.

"K well get up and get dressed. I left you a towel and a rag in the bathroom and the toothbrush is in the second drawer." She said getting up.

"Okay."

Then she walked out shutting the door behind her. I slowly rose up off my bed stretching once more then walked over to the bathroom.

At the Aquarium

We just got done going through the shark tunnel. I loved sea life so going to the aquarium is something that I really love to do.

"You ready to go yet Alex?" my aunt said going through her phone.

"Yeah sure." I said. " I am kinda tired" I said to myself.

After we left we went to the grocery store and got food to prepare dinner.

At home

I was lying down in my bed staring at the ceiling with so many thoughts running through my head.

My aunt said tomorrow we were gonna go get me enrolled in school and I would start next week.

I sighed turning over. I looked on the nightstand and saw the necklace my mother gave me.

I grabbed it and held it tightly in my hand.

Then I soon drifted off to sleep.

So this chapter is like a make up for the other one being so short. Or at least it was to me. But I will be updating new chapters every Friday from now on. So please give me feedback tell me what you think I could do better or what I'm doing that's already good. I nerd the advice. And also vote! :D
