New Beginnings

This Again!

Akiko's POV

It is the day after the little kissing "incident" with Mikaze-senpai. I don't what to do. We are shooting the rest of the movie together today. I was really nervous to see how it would work out. It would be totally awkward because we were both playing love interests.

"I need to tell you something," I recited.

"What is it?" Mikaze-senpai asked. He was putting forth more emotion this time.

"There is just something I have always wanted to tell you," I whispered. "Ever since we were little, I have always loved you."

"Cut!" the director yelled. "That was perfect!"

"Thank you so much!" I cried. We were finally done with the movie. It is really awkward when I was so close to Mikaze-senpai, yet he didn't seem to notice. He acted like nothing happened.

"Hey! Akiko! Come here!" Mikaze-senpai called.

"Yes, Mikaze-senpai?" I answered.

"Don't call me that anymore. Just call me Ai," he told me.

"Umm OK.....Ai," I stuttered.

"Good work on the movie today," he complimented. "Now I want to tell you...." Ding!

My phone went off. "Sorry Ai," I apologized. I peeked at my phone. It was text from Nagi.

N: Do you want to meet me at the park?

A: Sure! What time?

N: As soon as possible.

A: OK! I just finished the movie shoot and I will be there as soon as I possibly can! Cya!

N: Cya!

"I'm sorry Ai," I said. "Can you tell me later? I need to go meet someone." With that I ran off to the park to meet Nagi. I ran all the way to the park. When I got there, I found Nagi already sitting there and waiting for me.

"Did you wait too long?" I asked.

"No, don't worry about it," Nagi replied. "Let's just go!" He grabbed my hand and led me to an ice cream shop.

"Why did you want to meet all of sudden?" I asked.

"I just missed being with you that's all," Nagi answered. "Let's order our ice cream."

"I'll have the Oreo Sundae with fudge and caramel," I ordered. He looked at me. "What?" I asked.

"You are an idol. Aren't you supposed to stay skinny?" he inquired.

"I know that. But haven't you noticed." I pointed at my stomach. "I have a very high metabolism. I eat this kind of stuff everyday."

"Yeah, I should've noticed that," he laughed. "I'll have a strawberry ice cream cone."

"So, how has life been?" I asked.

"Fine, Eicchi keeps yelling at me for not paying attention during practice though," he pouted. I laughed.

"Maybe you should just pay more attention," I giggled.

"You try practicing with Eicchi! He is crazy!" Nagi complained. "So how is life for you?"

"Nothing much happened, but there has been a lot of work lately. I haven't been to school for a couple of weeks," I replied.

"Oh," he said. We just sat there for a while. It was kind of awkward, but I didn't know what to talk to him about. Wait! I got it!

"Sooooooooo Nagi, do you like bread?" I mentally slapped myself for saying something that stupid.

"Umm yeah I do," he replied. Nagi started laughing. Then, I started laughing. We just sat there laughing for like 5 minutes until our ice cream came out. For the rest of the time, we just talked normally. We talked so much, when I looked at my watch it was already 8 o'clock.

"Oh no! It is late! I need to get going!" I cried.

"OK!" Nagi replied. We payed for the ice cream and walked outside. "I had fun today Akiko!"

"I did too, Nagi," I replied. Before I knew it, he leaned and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Before I could say anything, he ran away. Wow, two boys in a row.

**A/N: Sorry for not updating for so long. I have been so busy ever since I made the volleyball team. I have practice everyday after school, plus a tower of homework. I'll try to update on the weekends. I am not dead yet! I draft a lot of chapters during the school day, but I never get a chance to actually write them out. Right now I am like 7 chapters ahead.
