Fast Times In Times Square

Starbucks!

~~Niall's Pov~~

I woke up ready to go, quickly getting myself dressed and then heading towards Starbucks to meet Erin.

Erin had arranged to meet her friend earlier this morning and so we'd agreed to meet at Starbucks.

I looked at the time to see I was 10 minutes early so I decided to take a slow walk through the nearby park as I didn't want to seem clingy.

After what seemed like a long 10 minutes, I noticed Erin walk into Starbucks, so I quickly headed across the road and stepped inside, ordering my coffee and finding Erin at a nearby booth.

"Hey" I smiled.

"Hi!" She said enthusiastic.

"How are you?" I asked.

"I'm good thanks you?"

"I'm great thanks" I said still smiling.

I pictured this conversation to be quite awkward but it turned out, it was quite a long one.

"Have the boys ever pranked you?" She said still laughing from my previous story about a prank.

"Yeah, Zayn once put lemons in my shoes" I said and she erupted with laughter and I honestly couldn't help but join in.

I looked at her in that moment and smiled, because I honestly love her laugh and can't get enough of it.

When Erin eventually calmed down she checked her watch "wow we've been in here over an hour" she grinned.

"Time flies when your having fun" I laughed.

"Do you want to go home now?" I asked.

"Yeah okay" she smiled standing up as we set off for home.

We walked next to each other down the road in silence, although it wasn't awkward, it was actually a nice, comfortable silence.

When we finally reached the house we stepped inside and I was actually quite upset our coffee 'date' was over.

"We should do that again sometime, it was fun" Erin exclaimed happily.

"Course we should, although do you like theme parks?" I asked.

"Do I like them? No, I absolutely love them!" She giggled.

"Would you maybe like to go to one, maybe this weekend?" I asked, wondering if I was being too forward.

I tensed nervously, wondering what her response would be seeing as i was almost turned down...

Last time.

"I'd love to do that" she smiled genuinely.

"Great" I grinned kissing her cheek and walking into the kitchen.

Was that too much?

I then heard a small chuckle and I knew it was Erin, I really liked her... I just hope she feels the same
