"Lauren come on! Let's go" Dinah yells impatiently from downstairs.

I giggled as I grabbed my purse "here I come" I sang as I ran down the stairs. Dinah looks at me and shakes her head "you're dorky" she laughs "but you love me" I said tapping her nose. She rolled her eyes but smiles "yes Lo I love you." I kissed her cheek "and I love you D" I declared proudly. She laughs at me again before dragging me out of the house and towards the car "are you ready?" I nodded "I'm ready" I said.

We drove for 35 minutes and pulled into the parking lot of a tiny apartment complex "I can't believe we're doing this" I said as I grabbed a box. Dinah chuckles "I know. Isn't this exciting!" I smiled widely as we walked up the stairs to our very own apartment. I can not believe that after five years of being together and four years apart that we're finally moving in together. Yeah it was hard being without her but we made a promise to each other after we graduated that we would be together no matter what and it's finally happening and I couldn't be happier.

"What are you thinking about beautiful" Dinah asked, wrapping her arms around my waist from behind.

I smiled "just about the promise me made back in high school" I told her "I just can't believe we're finally doing this. It feels so surreal" I stated.

"I know but we made it babe. Lauren we made through years of being apart. We made it" she says.

I chuckled "I mean if you think about it we were never really apart. We talked often enough" I said. Dinah turns me around "true but it was still hard not being with you, holding you...kissing you." She wiggles her eyebrows causing me to laugh "gosh Dinah you're so dorky" I said. She just shrugs "so you still love me" she counters. I roll my eyes playfully and was about to say something but there was a knock on the door.

"Oh there here" Dinah yells as she ran towards the door and throws it open "girls you're here" she squeals as she let them in "hello mama and papa J please come in" she tells my parents.

I smiled as I went to go greet everyone "Normally it's nice to see you again" I joked since I saw them earlier today "Laurinah it's nice to see you again too" Normani joked back. I laugh as I faced the other person "Camz it's nice to see you" I said "you too Lo" she smiles. I smiled back before turning to my parents "mom, dad, I've missed you so much" I said hugging them "it's good to see you too mija" my mom said "come on. Let's eat" I said. Everyone walked to the kitchen and began getting food.

It's crazy how everything turned out after high school. Ally and Normani ran off to Vegas and got married and have been happily married for two years now. Camila pulled her head out of her ass and realized that friendship is more important than popular. No things didn't go back to the way they were but we're getting there. My dad divorced April and married my mom on September 6, 2016 and have been happily married for five years. Dinah and I got engaged when I got home from college on July 15 and we're planning on getting married next summer. Dinah's parents apologized to her and have been nothing but supportive to her since. Overall everyone is happy and nothing can stop that.
